I really like that Aira actually felt happy for the first time (I guess) for being complimented for working hard on actually getting something done that she couldn't make her usual fake-like comment about it.

Bruh, I just love how odd and offbeat this series is. Dandadan is definitely the Regular Show of anime Okarun and Aira, make an excellent team, they really dcompliment each others strengths and weaknesses. Like Okarun said, I don't think he could have defeated the evil musicians without Aira's help. I love hoe Dandadan will throw characters together to work and bounced off each other.

Aira's memory motivation flash one of my favorite parts of this episode. The Leader does have to protect the squad after all😂😂. I love seeing this aggressive side of Okarun, that boy has strong conviction and heart.

Same. I don't think it was a romantic moment for her. I think that she was genuinely praised for the first time instead of it being about the fake persona she uses.

The Band is called X-Japan. Drummer (songwriter I think) commented and liked it, his tweet went big ofc. Then Sony lawyers contacted Studio for the song. Fun fact Sony ownes people who ordered the show, so this is SO JAPAN. Yesterday DanDaDan posted official apology. In Japan you have to get approval for stupid things inside japan, otherwise its almost fair gain. Altho some don't care. This entire thing is just a fuss over nothing. Their burocratic nightmare nonsense. So everything is going to be ok. Just Japan things

Also, Characters where Fair gain, but they claimed that the song was to close to the original. Since they are all under same umbrella (Sony), this will quiet down soon, guess thats why DanDaDan issued official apology to Drummer, Band and Sony.

I’m glad we’re starting to see more genuine moments from Aira, such as her being unable to put up an act when Okarun complimented her and when she apologized to Momo last episode.

Considering that Dandadan was created by one of the assistants of the Chainsaw Man author, I wouldn't put anything past them lmaooo. Fun fact: the authors of Dandadan, Spy Family, and Hell's Paradise were all assistants to the Chainsaw Man author

The copyright issue is between the musician Yoshiki and his band and the series producers. Sony Music is not the source of the dispute. Japanese intellectual property law doesn't recognize the concept of fair use which most likely would protect the work from this type of claim in the US. It also gives artists more control over the use of their work, hence Yoshiki having an actionable claim even without Sony's involvement. It's also important culturally in Japan for artists to get permission from other parties before referencing their likeness or works. This is why you see so many fake names of brands and persons in anime/manga even when IP concerns don't apply, such as not listing the real names of the famous classical composers referenced in this episode.

I don't think Aira's flashback was really focused on Okarun. The first and last shots were of him, but other than that it was shots of everyone individually and together (even Momo <3). She has a squad she's gotta stand by.
