Also I think it’s an amazing full circle for Bakugo to not call deku well deku (in a bad way, he still calls him that in a hero since) And for bakugo who always begrudgingly accepted Kacchan to proudly proclaim it as his name. Is dyna might wasn’t already a banging name I would say Kacchan should be his hero name

you should be in the clear to watch the opening around episode 6 or 7 imo. based on what's shown in the opening and the rate of chapters being adapted per episode. we'll def let y'all know when tho

The Kid Bakugo has seriously came a long way. His development while frustrating at times, has been wonderful to witness. This battle is a great showcase of that. The animation and emotion were absolutely amazing.

Great episode! All For One cried because he asked Kudo where his brother Yoichi is and Kudo told him he's dead. That's why he cried hearing his brother passing away and possible he blamed himself thats why he choked and killed Kudo in such a harsh way. Not gonna lie a All For One origin OVA would go hard!

Yess I've been waiting for this!! 🤩 Funny you mentioned Gojo actually, since the animator behind the Sukuna v Mahoraga fight in season 2 (Victor Chansard) worked on this episode so I feel like you can definitely see that jjk vibe here! FYI The OP's stayed the same until this episode, so whenever you end up reacting to it, you should watch both the initial OP released then the one played from this ep! Both have actually been uploaded to the toho animation youtube channel (the one from this ep is titled Type-2) so it'll be easy to find. Also the newscaster mess up was her entire speech on the changing winds I think. It was something she said that strayed away from her weather script and was a comment on countries potentially working with AFO (from an ep last season I believe) so it was a bit of a call back. I enjoyed this reaction so much and cried a lot 😂 Can't wait for the next one!

@mvnk -- Interesting. While you're not alone in thinking the opening has spoilers, I've also seen comments that indicate the opposite. On the one hand, there is absolutely nothing wrong with people wanting to play things safe (especially when the ending is so close), and there's no real rush for the girls to watch the opening. On the other hand, as an anime-only fan, I've watched both versions of the opening and didn’t feel spoiled by either, so I wonder what I'm missing (no need to point it out, of course 😅). Some of the other MHA reactors I follow are holding off on the new OP, too, but the folks I've seen who chose to watch it didn't seem to think it spoiled anything for them (including YaBoyRoshi, and they always speak up when an OP spoils them, especially Dr. Stone). I'll be curious to see how the season progresses, but at least for now, this seems like a case of,  "If you’ve read the manga, you know what you're seeing in the OP because you know what happens next. If you haven't read the manga, what you're seeing in the OP doesn't make sense without context, and thus, you'd only be spoiled if manga fans pointed out the alleged spoilers."

As an anime only, I really don't know what spoilers people are talking about. Whats shown is pretty standard for an opening. It looks like the opening changed too so they should've at least watched the previous one

@Merfhew It’s hard for me to describe why I would advise the girls not to watch the opening without saying a spoiler. If you don’t feel spoiled I’m glad, but there are reveals and such that I think the girls might pick up on being as observant as they are. In any case, they’ll see the opening in a few weeks anyway so I don’t see why we shouldn’t play it safe for the time being.

I keep seeing "I love Bakugo" comments, and I couldn't agree more. According to the most recent character popularity poll, Bakugo came in first, so it sounds like we're all in good company here. 🙂 1. The amount of heartbeats skipped and goosebumps I got this episode was nuts! Hands down this episode is one for the books of MHA all time greatest ! 💥✨

Nothing New

This has now become one of my top episodes for MHA. I especially loved the "just a pebble" comments that One For All was making towards Bakugo. It feels like a nod to when Bakugo would say the same comments about Deku whenever he saw Deku improve or get the better of him. Kind of showing us how arrogant All For One is getting by getting younger and contrast it to a now more confident and mature/reflective Bakugo facing off against him.

I’m rewatching S6 & it’s crazy how far we’ve come & I keep forgetting they’ve only been in school for a year & gotten there hero license now it’s war time! Bakugo is killing it 👌🏼. Idk how this anime is gonna end but it’s been my favorite journey since Hunter Hunter, a complete story told, that or Naruto
