I know we are in a peace time and that the embers are naturally dwindling but I find it interesting that deku is using his embers for more menial tasks, like pushing rubble, and not that it wasn’t important but jumping from the school to the cliff side.

the “green tea” ship name is for Deku & Momo I believe since she likes tea and got a bit of focus on that during the music festival arc. I like the izuocha name tho for Izuku & Ochako. I pronounce it like “Izu-oh-ka.” they have a little emoji combo too 🍀🌸 (I’m not even in the shipping community like that but being on TikTok I’ll see it all anyway lol, TikTok shipping made me like Ekko & Jinx before it even happened on arcane) also the section where the citizens are being interviewed on Shigaraki, the old lady who asked “could this have been prevented?” is actually the same lady that noticed & ignored Tenko thinking “a hero will help him instead.” everything is her fault basically 😭 jk cuz AFO probably would’ve killed her if she did help smh

I sense Hawks & Magenta could also be a couple. I’m jsut gonna guess maybe the person at the end was Kurogiri ? It looked like a purple shadow but idk my other guess maybe it is Shigaraki somehow but idk how he would of survived I love that Midoriya used his power to go to Uraraka & the animation on her tears they looked identical to Toga’s crying. I swear to god I hope they get married in the future but overall I like that Uraraka just let everything out to Midoriya & him to her both just talking since everything happened

btw next week is the finale, unfortunately we don’t have “a couple more episodes.” 😭😭😭 But it’s actually an odd situation with the finale. *NO SPOILER,* the “final chapter” which will be adapted next week is actually not the final chapter anymore. See when the manga “ended,” it ended on its 430th chapter. However, a couple months later while the final season was in production and before the final physical volume of the manga was released, Horikoshi dropped one new chapter. Chapter 431, which is now the official final chapter as it’s included in the final volume, is likely not going to be adapted in the finale of the anime due to its later release. However, there has been an ova announced. Everyone is assuming now that the real final chapter will be adapted in that as well as a new bonus chapter released by Horikoshi in the latest MHA data book. So yea, just a heads up & some context for yall since it’s likely going to be reiterated by a bunch of people this & next week.

I didn't watch your discussion for the last episode, and hadn't read the comments... but I will point out... Dabi's body has been rotting away since he woke up in that orphanage. They say his will, and/or hatred are what's keeping him alive. He also doesn't feel physical pain. When you consider his current circumstances, those are things to consider. He's also 24 at this point in the story.

I knew the Dabi/Todoroki discourse had be addressed because it did get a little staticky😄😄🤣🤣 But I appreciate and respect y'all opinions even if I don't agree with all of them. They very nuance, well thought and objective. And in hindsight, I can agree that Dabi deserve more humane treatment. And my apologies if my comments were offensive and disrespectful in anyway.

There is one episode left and one OVA left. The OVA is based off of Manga Chapter 431 which did not release weekly with the series but did a few months after the manga ended. It’s written by Horikoshi and is cannon though, it’s a nice addition and kind of the cherry on top imo. No idea when it’ll be released as an anime episode but hopefully Dec 20th so it feels like it’s a part of season 8.

As someone who shipped Izuku and Ochako since the beginning. There scene together made my heart dance. Love what Izuku say to Ochako because it’s very very true. Ochako is very selfless person almost to a fault. I hate seeing such a sweetheart like her so distraught and in pain. I see the Hawks and Magenta vision. I’m here for it. And Dani was spitting at the end on how some people just want to punish evil, which is very understandable. But nobody really wants to find the root cause of it and try to nip it in the bud.

I think your reactions last week basically show that the story achieved what it was meant to do. Since it's constantly stated over and over again that the villains aren't pure evil, and so many characters (especially the civilians) have different perspectives on them. You guys having genuine opinions that aren't complete surface-level takes is a big reason why I watch

Morgan, Dani, Sam; your opinions are completely valid, it’s more than black and white which is what makes anime so profound. I feel nothing but disdain and slight sympathy for anyone who chooses to deny that and force their own thoughts upon others, some ppl either need help or to stop commenting in general. On another note I don’t think I’ve seen any one character in my history of watching anime cry more than Uraraka did right here 😭 this actually broke me, Deku did everything right in this scene. I don’t do shipping unless it’s like an actual romance anime, but this right here? Maaaaan let this one sail please 😂

Ochako grieving Toga, what she could have done to save her, and thinking about what could have happened if she had met her earlier, will always break my heart 😭 The fact their fight didn't get televised like the Todorokis vs Dabi and the everyone else vs AFO makes her pain almost invisible to the public eye, which is why I think it was so important for all of class A to give her some sort of support, especially Izuku who can completely relate, and Tsuyu who is her best friend. I appreciated that everyone came to see her and not just Izuku honestly, bc as much as the ship is cute, her moment of mourning shouldn't have been portrayed as anything romantic since she needed that moment of emotional vulnerability to be just about her and Toga, but that's just my opinion haha. Next week is the last ep! It's coming to an end so soon 😭 Enjoyed this reaction as always!!
