Nolan L Thomas

Been waiting on this drop like a drug fiend🤣🤣thanks for the fix gals.

Andor-lover

Paul and conquest are having a spaghetti cook off

Cameron_1

So glad they didn't make Debbie all I love you and I forgive you o happy amazing episode all around as well

Lyrical Kell of Music

What an amazing episode, I would say I’m not squeamish at all when it comes to animated violence, for me there is a pretty big mental disconnect between the injury’s being show compared to say a medical drama. But I was cringing so damn hard at the end

Gil

Ladies and Gentlemen we gather here today for Peak reactions and Television 🔥👏

Nolan L Thomas

Dawg, the exact same for me. This episode made me feel like my insides were being pulled out.

Nolan L Thomas

Oliver was correct when he said Debbie was a boss. She completely owned Omni-Man and I loved it.

Marcus

Im honestly surprised by how many people even thought that was an actual possibility, that would go completely against the entirety of her character arc lol

Ziggy

Lol jane juliet beam

Nolan L Thomas

I'm shocked as well. Just because Omni-Man might be genuine in his need to redeem himself, doesn't mean Debbie needs to be receptive of it.

thereactpack

Hey! I hate this ༼;´༎ຶ ۝ ༎ຶ༽ - Dani

King Gluzzy

When they eventually get back together I hope he earns it truly not just this But truly goes above and beyond and earns it . Hope it’s not at least for 2 whole seasons ( I will almost guarantee they will eventually Not a spoiler I’m not a comic reader. it’s just kinda predictable. now should that happen is the real question don’t think so personally . but it’s definitely not IF it happens but When it happens)

mywrld

Conquest HAD to go. After this episode, mark earned his name. He truly is invincible. This episode's dialogue had some of my favorite in the entire show. I dont know which one was better, Debbies scene or mark getting his guts scooped out like spaghetti

Cameron_1

I was just nervous seen a lot of superhero shows read a lot of comics where they have the woman completely forgive the guy who just did them wrong happy to be proven wrong

Nolan L Thomas

Your Invincible reactions are one of the reasons your ladies are the best reaction channel. For the simple fact y'all are so pro Debbie and don't give Omni-Man no passes whatsoever. Debbie read Omi-man to filth and really told him about himself. And I support every line she said 60000000% Sandra Oh fucking body that scene. Honestly Omi-man deserved way worse. Didn’t feel bad for him in the slightest. But that might be because I honestly just don’t like the guy.

Edman

Serving traumatization on a silver platter lol

Kazumasa

Conquest took digging your guts out to another level

Nolan L Thomas

Invincible vs Conquest part 2, was probably the first time in the whole series so far that made me super squamish and just straight up uncomfortable to look at. With the no score during the scene(but I do want to know the score when the fight began) made it more impact. The sound of Mark’s entrails being pulled out of him and Steven Yuen’s bloodcurdling cries made the scene all the more haunting and disturbing. Mark Grayson is a beast and his resolve is Invincible.

Nolan L Thomas

Same bro. It gross behavior when they do that. It gives the women no agency.

duckking235

Lol they are traumatized 🤣 buckle up this only the beginning of the war Also viltrumites have insane regeneration as long as they don't get their head cut off or damage to the heart

Mario Prime Plays

Conquest pulling out the guts is the Subway scene of this season lol.

Nolan L Thomas

I don't know man, I think this was worse. Mark’s cries of agony and the sound of his insides being pulled out was so disturbing

John

Nah, y’all’s reactions to invincible vs. conquest part 2 was epic haha

Nolan L Thomas

While Mark showed why he is called Invincible, with choking Conquest to death while being gutted. But he showed great emotional intelligence with the interactions with his pops. Much like his mom, Mark read his dad completely and told him about himself accordingly.

Dammy Oshikoya

This was a rough watch. Nolan Nolan Nolan, sigh, you effed buddy. That apology was going nice but, it just got worse. I love me a good redemption arc character. Thorfinn, YIKES, killed a lot of people. Zuko did some bad things but, they never gave up trying to atone their sins. That small flashback of Debbie and Nolan having dinner was a hint of what Nolan does a lot “gives up too easily” Still rooting for you, he’s my 2nd fav chara

Gin

do you know? I dont think you know

Mario Prime Plays

I just meant there’s always that one scene each season that makes you go, “wtf am I watching”.

BT

I forgot that Viltrumite don't breathe in space, they just hold their breath for a long time. I felt that anger when Mark was choking the life out of him. Totally made up for last episode.

Legiey

First time mark actually felt invincible

Marsuvies Black

I'm on Debbie side for everything except saying Nolan is taking their sons, it wasn't his choice or idea. Also abandoning Oliver not really his choice, he was captured. But everything else is completely justified and I think the apology allowed Debbie to move on, so I think it was necessary. Also, it's crasy how much power Nolans apologies have with all the alien species that know the viltrumnites bc they just don't do that but on earth is just a normal apology bc they don't have context.

Krillin It

Mark getting disemboweled was probably the most excruciating thing I've sat through. Just sank into my hoodie and begged for it to end

Aniruddha Sharma

In the comics Debbie and Nolan made up, and they hugged and everything. This is better imo.

Aniruddha Sharma

Tech Jacket is a dude in the comics, and he has had a solo series before Invincible even came out. He is a major player and took out two Invincible variants at once. Even the show version took out a Mark variant. I don't mind the change, but I kinda don't like how young they made her. Comic Tech Jacket was 20 when he fought in the Viltrumite war. But I guess they wanted to pair her with Oliver

These Plums

Remember everyone. Choking someone out isn't just about air/oxygen, but stopping blood flow to the brain.

milan jackson

This was way more brutal than in the comics especially the guts part it was just 1 pull and conquest died but in this episode he kept pulling and pulling and pulling. Hope you are all okay now after watching that. Great reaction!

I don't want to justify anything, but why is it so hard for ppl to understand that a living being with a different life expectancy and perception of time, with hundreds of years of upbringing, culture, knowledge, and so on, thinks and acts according to all of that? Even if we want to think "Oh, 20 years they have passed together, blah blah blah," what are 20 years compared to hundreds and hundreds living according to completely different beliefs? I repeat, I'm not excusing Nolan's actions, but it shouldn't be so difficult to understand from that perspective why he did what he did, The last couple of episodes have emphasized Nolan's apologies, and yes, for us they are simple apologies, but what they represent coming from a Viltrumite is what gives them weight,, Even the infamous comment about Debbie being a pet to him, when he said it, was from the point of view of a being that lives for thousands of years and his affection for one that lives only 90 at most,,they are different living beings, aesthetics aside, and biologically they can procreate because of the lore Lol,, we really like to judge, based on our ethics and values, fictional beings that simply do not represent humans

Whyyeezus

First time I can say Mark might actually be Invincible, fairs lol

Honest of Abes

If “No guts, no glory” was depicted in a literal sense: NEVER in my lifetime of watching animations have I actually hugged my stomach or felt it curl more than this under any circumstance. Invincible is going down as one of the greats 🙏🏿

mywrld

Well we havent finished the season yet, but so far. I agree.

KingRoboNinja

Think the flashback was just to show that he really misses Debbie lol

KingRoboNinja

Really don’t understand Nolan hate lol would figure by this point more people should understand his view 🤷🏽‍♂️

KingRoboNinja

Feel like Nolan hate is so forced, at this point.. like we just seen his dad back hand his mom in episode 2.. and we think because he called Debbie a pet he’s a horrible person 😂😭

Aniruddha Sharma

He didn't even open up in the comics, just said I am sorry. Show Debbie is a much better character. She is the reason Earth is safe imo.

Nolan L Thomas

Ironically, I feel the same about Omni-Man love. What a twist huh?

KingRoboNinja

Never said I love him.. he is one of my favorites because of his complexity tho.. just think people are still acting like we were in season 1, ignorant

Nolan L Thomas

And you think folks are wrong for that?

KingRoboNinja

Let me start by saying I’m not trying to argue or be argumentative, I actually love that people can have discussions like this about Invincible, but in a way I do think it’s wrong.. put any other Viltrumite in Nolan’s shoes and we’re cooked in season 1.. think everyone should look at the big picture of Viltrumites and Viltrum as a whole, not JUST what Nolan did in season 1

Nolan L Thomas

Naw, it's all good. I respect your point even if it doesn't overly change mine. I was curious to hear your perspective.

KingRoboNinja

👍🏽 I actually really love the scene with Debbie and Nolan.. 100% on Debbie’s side.. honestly she’s the best change from the comics

Nolan L Thomas

On that, I 1000000% agree with you. Debbie is the boss like Oliver said.

chefboyarkey

I truly wish people would try to understand that even when something isn’t someone’s choice, they can still be the cause. I get we want charecters to extend grace to other characters we like, but Nolan and charecters like him are still the cause of all these problems whether they meant it or not. It’d be nice if we could ignore everything else and only focus on the intent of people’s actions but it doesn’t change the consequences other people have to endure. There’s a limit and I think murdering thousands of people is well outside of it.

chefboyarkey

Because it doesn’t matter. They have no obligation to forgive him this isn’t American history x fam

ElSemi

Nobodys talking about the other characters forgiving him, I'm referring to video reactors in general understanding the perspective and not getting stuck in that narrative of simply saying hes good or bad for saying this or that, blah, blah, blah,,, obviously, for the other characters, the underlying reasons why he did what he did do not change the fact that he killed thousands of people

Edwin

Vegeta and the Sayains killed even more people, destroyed more planets and to this date is more of an asshole than Nolan and look at how much good he has done since Kakarot gave him a second chance. We take normal men, train them to be soldiers, killing machines… imagine being trained for hundred of years, killing you school friends, having your mom and dad try to kill you and then abandon you. A lot of people judge him like he’s a monster but he was raised like one.

Edwin

They are not getting back together. In the comics she forgives him, here she didn’t. The show deviates a lot from the comic.

Nolan L Thomas

Thank you. So many Omni-Man apologist in the comments, having a hard time understanding why it’s so hard to forgive and forget.

Kelvin_ 246

So I didn’t feel that after his first fight with Conquest? Or him getting his chest split open my Battle Beast? Or his dad almost beating him to death😭😭😭

Mr. Every

Proud of you for making it through it. I think they fucked up by not finishing the episode on that last shot of Mark. The rest of it could have been the next episode. It was almost a perfect Invincible episode.

Bobby Montoya

This episode was so hard to watch. I’ve never felt the urge to throw up watching an animated show before. So damn brutal.
