Lmao your guys feelings at the end is why people suggest the different watch order. So you get that sweet sweet happy ending at the end of your watch. There’s only suffering here in the Beta world line.

These two episodes are good, but if you’re finding some of these earlier episodes underwhelming, you’re going to need some patience. Unlike the original series where they cut off everything but the man route, they included and condensed a number of routes for 0 while cutting large chunks of story. Having said that though, you’ll see some of the most heartfelt and good moments in the later part of the story.

Some years ago, a thematic sequel (initially called Steins;God) was announced which would include Okabe and Kurisu (+Daru), so we may get to see those two again in a new Steins;??? story. We know a sequel is in production, and it might be related to that thematic sequel. The timing of this is weird since a remake is set be released this year.

I have watched both series so many times, and episode 8 of SG0 makes me bawl every time, like full on sob.

Reading... STEINER?! Why was that so hype. Okabe is being pulled into his trauma but leaving it as a cliffhanger is pure storytelling. And then to go back to the world line with Makise to add more to the original plot... so good. And you're right, Russia seems sus right now, that and Amadeus learning from Okabe.

Andrew Curcillo

He really doesn't get to the SG worldline, that is for the Okabe from the original ep 23, this Okabe never writes over that one with Reading Steiner.

Ah, you're right. I think the reason some reactors stop at SG OG is because they think they've already gotten their happy ending and consider SG 0 just another route, which is wrong.
