To be honest I’m kinda done with anything involving the white worm and Alicent, they are just not really moving the plot along for me personally, it’s a lot of the same shit being recycled, alicent keeps being put into situations that make no sense to me and failing to progress and the writing just makes her look incompetent and with the white worm it’s kinda said in this episode, she’s lost her fangs and is just a yes man to whatever rheneyra wants, she’s not that interesting anymore and feels like she’s not changed or done anything of note since last season. Kinda wish we would focus more on Aegon, Darion and Helena, to me they have far more interesting storylines. Aegon specifically has become one of my favorite to watch this season, he’s a piece of shit for sure but his journey is easily the most entertaining to watch and find out where he’s going plus seeing sunfyre come back was fucking awesome. Not judging the characters per se, just not really invested in the first two and their storylines at all. Just my opinion though, would welcome any sort of dialogue or conversation.

Pretty sure ormunds plan was always ulf, it’s why he’s been so cocky and arrogant this entire time. He’s annoying but a brilliant strategist, targeting the weakest minded and less loyal was effective. Jace was right, letting the commoners with no loyalty access to such power would be her undoing and it’s not looking great for her. If she loses Daemon on top of all this? Yeah no she’s cooked

Helaena on Dreamfyre was a big highlight of the series. Definitely should have been more Dreamfyre. Helaena’s outfit was beautiful. Even her Dracarys was epic.

Personally I'll throw in Aemond in that list of disinterest. I know where his story is headed (looking forward to seeing that) but the journey has been so disappointing to me (this season).

100 percent, I’m having flashbacks to last season and what they did with Daemon in the same castle. He’s felt so out of place in the story as of this episode, but hopefully once we get to the good stuff it makes up for it.

the biggest victim of this show was Sheepstealer. This boy was happy hunting and eating sheep and Rhaena came, took him to fight a war. Got shot at, attacked, went home. Then jumped by multiple dragons. JUSTICE FOR SHEEPSTEALER

Did you watch the og series? House of the Dragon is TAME compared to base GoT. We've had a few sex scenes in this one, without much gratuity, but in the original you had scenes like Littlefinger giving exposition dialogue while there's a fully nude lesbian sex scene going on in the background.

actually I would like to disagree with some of what you said ☝️ I think in this season, Alicent and Mysaria are actually showcasing their ability to switch sides. Alicent is more willing to do what Rhaenyra says, in the past she has firmly backed her opinions and butted heads with her. Mysaria, the opposite. I think she is second guessing her position under the pressure of her past and almost feeling the need to USE Rhaenyra instead of helping her. But that is carried with the feeling of not being trusted, which i think is the overall theme for this season. I think Alicent and Mysaria will actually be the straw that breaks the camels back, on each side. For me, I want Aegon and Aemond to fight it out among themselves and just stay away from everything else lol -Morgan

I agree more with your sentiment on Mysaria feeling the pressure to use Rhaenyra even if in my opinion it still feels stagnant and not the most interesting storyline, with Abigail it still feels like the writers have no idea how to use her so she’s just popping in and out of the season, even her trip to Harrenhall feels like a waste of time since it didn’t change the status quo, if we took out her involvement this season, realistically nothing about what has happened would change and it’s why I think she’s just been mishandled for how long she’s been shown on screen. Other than that I can’t disagree, aemond and aegon both could just take each other out and it would be pretty entertaining 😂 just leave the poor dragons to live in peace is what I would want even if I know we won’t get it.

Honestly I agree. I think the root of the problem with Alicent is that in trying to preserve her ties with Rhaenyra (both should hate each other after Luke and Jaehaerys died) they’ve lost a lot of the venom that book Alicent had. I’m not one of those F&B loyalists who think any change to the books is bad but they’ve really neutered Alicent and clearly are just tryna find things for her to do. With Aemond I do kinda hear you but also in the books there’s not a lot to work with. Harrenhal just seems to make any storyline drag at this point. I think as interesting as his story has been more Aegon scenes would make his storyline drag too much. They definitely could’ve done more with Daeron and Helaena tho. Still find it funny that she and Daemon had a dream zoom call and neither have wanted to talk to the other about it despite being in the same castle since episode 3.
