Mako is a player lol I mean we all been there liking 2 people at once. Amon sure is smart and omg Toph's daughter is so badass I love her, everyone's style of fighting and how they carry themselves is great. I love the unspoken history that Tenzin and Lin used to date I wonder how Aang and Toph thought of that lol

Korra using a lot of firebending definitely fits her personality atm, but I think part of it is also that it's currently the most accessible element to her - she doesn't carry around waterskins like Katara does, she hasn't learned airbending yet, and earthbending is often difficult in a more modern city that relies more on glass and metal (like the dome of the arena) than earth

It was so divisive but honestly I really liked how Korra was written in this series. Shes young and brash and a product of the peaceful times she was born in. A lot of her behavior makes so much sense but I think ATLA purist get really aggro when comparing Aang and Korra for silly reasons.

I honestly never understood the constant comparisons between Korra and Aang. It all just seemed goofy and tribalistic to me.

I love all of season 1 but episode 6 was a turning point where the show went from just being very good to being amazing! I loved that fight choreography of that last battle sequence between Lin/Korra vs the Equalists.

I'm one of the people that doesn't like that the bending has become homogenized. I still think it looks cool but there was a reason they all had different styles it was how they channeled the element.
