False accusations! I think whoever is behind the creation of the Seven Havens is evil. Maybe Red Lotus resurfaced and changed names? I think Korra is the reason the world is so different, but it was probably the only way to save everyone and the truth was hidden by the leaders of the Seven Havens.

The theories people are making are super interesting, so glad they didn't release it all at once. Incredibly surprised by how much im enjoying the series so far.

We did watch it in one sitting. We divided it up to speed up the editing process so one person didn't have to do all three eps at once. Therefore getting it out sooner. Thank you -S

I have a feeling that maybe in some of the other havens the cultures have been better preserved but here in Ellora its all been homogenised

Am I crazy or was the place Bavi chose to find shelter at the old pro bending arena ? I swear we’ve seen that glass dome before it looked like the top of it . Very curious got lots of questions but I like it being post apocalypse.

I’ve heard folks compare the animation to She-Ra as well, Dani. Also Netflix Voltron. I get the feeling of being upset Sam that Aang and Korra’s legacy and everything we knew of the series seems gone. But I’ve heard fans say you have to think of SH as a soft reboot of the series as a whole. Which might take some getting use to.

Cool first eps. The animation is definitely resembling more of the Western shows like Invincible, Vox Machina, etc. (I believe Korra had a South Korean studio as its main team). A little stiff but I won’t let that cloud my judgement of the show. If it’s written well then I’ll focus on that.

Sam, you are right! Malika and Ulan at the start are both confirmed to be filipino characters and their VAs are filipinos too. Ulan means rain in tagalog.

Sam you're in good company. There's a video online of Janet Varney, Korra's VA, talking about how she sobbed through the first episode because of how they portrayed her as being the bad guy. To be clear she wasn't down on the show at all just emotional about that aspect.

I've watched the first 3 episodes and yeah the animation is definitely a big step down. Not completely horrible but very plain Jane. I'm hoping the story stays interesting enough to make up for that.

Yeah, these first three episodes definitely feel like "Schrödingers good/bad writing" - there are a lot of interesting elements here, but I'm scared af of Bryke ruining it - e.g. if Korra isn't fully exonerated by the end of the show, I'm gonna pay a visit to Avatar Studios (in Minecraft)
