Ringo is literally my whole heart🥹 I’m so glad to be rewatching this with you guys!! I was 19 when this came out, & now I’m 22. so I’m excited to see if I catch anything more now that I’m older mentally.

Nolan L Thomas

I been patiently waiting for this reaction. And it’s going to be gold.

Ivan

Not gonna lie, I like peaches! Great show

Merv0309

I knew you would love this show, perfect since season 2 is coming soon!

Nolan L Thomas

Who does like a good peach ☺️☺️

Ivan

quick history lesson. Black teeth were beauty symbol for "aristocracy" its made from solution of iron filings and vinegar. Belived it also protected teeth from harm. This trend was LONG, from 10th century to i think 1910s. Some male japanese also did this until meji restoration (19. century). Oh, its called Ohaguro

Nolan L Thomas

So basically, the ancient gold teeth 🤣🤣

Jackie Gibson

Yay, I LOVED this show, so excited to see season 2.

Nolan L Thomas

This show is the perfect combination of style and substance. Layered characters, great storytelling, dope visuals and fighting sequences. I’ve been waiting for this reaction ever since I saw this series way back, I can already tell this is going to be top rank 💙💙

Demnevanni

Super happy to see you reacting to this show, I think you'll love it!

Nolan L Thomas

You can tell that creators have deep love and respect for samurai culture and cinema, this series drips with so many aesthetics from it. This does mirror Shogun in many aspects. Like having very well written female characters. The action being super fire is just a sweet bonus.

Savingstumps

Ok, I had never watched this before, but I'm in. That was good.

Kimi

OH PEAK IS HERE

Daniel Howard

Oh hell yeah. Think yall will highly enjoy this

Tony Do

Yessss. Winding down on a Sunday with this reaction. Thank you!

On December 11, 2023, the series was renewed for a second season. The second season is set to consist of six episodes and is scheduled to premiere in 2026. On August 20, 2026, the series was renewed for a third and final season. (Wikipedia)

It's fun watching this again that I can catch things i didn't the first time, like Taigen is in a way in an arranged marriage between his dojo and Akemi. The characters often mirror each other in interesting ways.

Jesse Suthers

Damn this is a banger show. Another show I would have never watched if not for the react pack, thank you

Morgi

honestly the pools should u pick one of the top 3 animes in each pool, some of the shit in these pools u shouldn't be subject to watch.

Morgi

yea i been voting on this since it was put on the pools

iMovie stars

Been hoping for this since it lost to classroom of the elite

Alan Porto

Samee, i remember i typed "Blue Eye Samurai React Pack" on youtube like three times in a year

thereactpack

omg yes I love love LOOOVE Ringo!! So fun, I love dissecting this show, so many intentional details -Morgan

Narutoanime16

Reminds me of Mulan and Samurai Jack she carries the same energy. Love it already can't wait for more

Robert Bonfante

This show gets slept on. The animation is IMO the best this side of Arcane. So many of the scenes are wallpaper/screensaver material. The fights are also very good, with a couple rivaling even Arcane's best fight sequences. This show is kind of niche so it doesn't belong in a franchise with an established fandom, and it's technically not anime so anime heads might miss this. It's why it doeasn't win a lot of polls, but shows like this that are wholly original are worth taking the time to watch.

I only wanted to rewatch before season two anyway. Perfect timing as usual
