that caption is wild 😂

The best part about this episode is that originally in the anime, they never adapted the fact he ate his leg from the manga because very early one piece was pretty PG for the most part, so it only happened in the manga. In the anime he lost his leg because it got caught underwater trying to save Sanji so he had to cut it.

Dani not making the netflix noises 😭

Joshi

This episode is more emotional in the anime 😭

That whole mentor-student-bond/idea of found family, as well as inheriting the will to the future generation are two of my most favorite themes in this story, so this episode definitely was the highlight of S1 for me!

The power of One Piece is that it makes you laugh and then cry and then laugh and then cry in such quick succession that the wall you try to hold up to stop yourself from crying becomes this pitiful mess of rubble that ain't doing shit. I used to never cry at shit but this fkn series called me a pussy and now I cry over shit all the time in stories. I'm a shell of my former self and wouldn't have it any other way. I love One Piece so much Subscribing for this episode was well worth it and probably my favourite episode of the Live Action. Sanji's goodbye was *chefs kiss*, pun intended Hoping you guys give the anime a go afterward but understand it's a commitment! Keen for more!

They probably won’t react to one piece till at the very least they finish most of the anime they have in their schedule currently. So if they do plan to watch one piece, we’ll have to expect them to start around late Summer-early fall 2024

Luffy is just so endearing and sweet, one can’t help but like/love him. That kid is too genuine for his own good.

Not shirtless Sanji having y’all like😮🥵😀

wdym? 6/7 slots will be available by the end of this year...with Death Note finished last week & OPLA done next week as well, their Friday slot on YouTube & Patreon will be free + Zom 100 is on indefinite hiatus now after next Thursday's ep9, so Blue Lock got moved to that Tuesday & Thursday slot and thus the Saturday slot on Patreon is also free now. They have already covered most of the big titles at this point, so I could see OP being a good contender in a poll for one of the now at least 2 available slots the reserved slots starting next week, according to their Patreon schedule: Mo: JJK S2 (12 weeks/New Year's) Tu: Zom 100 -> Blue Lock (5 weeks) We: Violet Evergarden (6 weeks) Th: Zom 100 -> Blue Lock (5 weeks) Fr: / Sa: / Su: HxH (26 weeks/April '24)

Can’t wait for Nami’s reaction when the gang comes gets her, like you ladies said. The Straw Hate Crew are real genuine friends

Just a thought, but there are “special episodes” of one piece where they officially abridged an arc down to like movie size. If you guys are really interested in watching the anime you could look into them. I think Crunchyroll have some or all of them. I enjoy the reaction as always

They should check out special episodes to see how they compare imo but the whole series along with the live action too? Nah. Pacing is too crap in the anime and it would eat a time slot for reactions for years. In that amount of time they could literally react to dozens of other anime. Oh and by special episodes I mean certain episodes like the episode with Zeff and Sanji

Yea but they take away what makes one piece, one piece. But the pacing isn’t a problem if you binge, plus they can use one pace after the TimeSkip cuz after the TimeSkip is where it really becomes a problem. Pre-TimeSkip one piece isn’t a problem in terms of pacing, again if you binge.

Yea but you have to keep in mind that there are so many anime’s out there that they’d probably watch first before committing to the big series like Naruto and one piece

Ben

When luffy said he was also expecting someone bigger I was dead lol in the anime I swear arlong is like 8'5

The pacing isnt bad until later in the series and even so it really isnt as bad as people say, they are just too impatient to get to the end when its about the journey
