Sketch – At this stage, I hadn’t settled on every shot yet, but the structure and pacing of the page were already clear. I wanted the sequence to breathe, alternating intimacy and suspense.

Definitive Sketch – Here I found the right solution for panel 3 and made a change to panel 4. For the third, I went with an extreme close-up of the fingers lifting the waistband of the wolf’s underwear—a choice meant to heighten curiosity and sexual tension. The change in the fourth panel was more aesthetic, a matter of visual balance.

Lineart – I know I’m not a master of inking, but I’m honestly happy with the results I’m getting across the comic! The linework is rough and slightly messy, which gives the figures a vibrant, lively feel. I like it—hope you do too!

Flat Coloring – Even in flat colors, this page delivers emotion (I swear). I love this palette. To create the semi-transparent effect on the fabric, I simply added a layer over the boxer trunks with soft strokes of the wolf’s skin tone. Simple and effective.

Shadows and Highlights – This is where the page really comes to life. In addition to the usual multiply layer for shadows and color dodge for highlights, I added:

an additive layer to give luminous depth (especially in panel 3)

an overlay layer for extra reflections (like on the fingers in panel 4)If you have any questions about any of the steps, I'd be happy to answer them!<<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>

I love how you have develop the page. The linework it's only a simple support, because the color helps to boost the rythm of the story and the ambient. One thing i love of this, is how tge color gaves the psicology and intentions of the characters, helping to flow the story, and even giving subtle details of the main protagonist of the pannel, not revealing entirely, but giving some hints. I'm glad you share all the process!! And sorry of i make an entire analysis!
