Well, things are definitely heating up now! Hihihi! 🔥

While Pino continues taking off his work uniform, eventually finding himself in nothing but his underwear, he suddenly realizes that he's being watched by his colleague Luca.

Instead of getting embarrassed, Pino decides to take advantage of the situation. Without a second thought, he takes off his underwear too, proudly showing off his backside! 😏

Storyboard

The storyboard for this page was quite straightforward to put together. The script was simple, and I already had a very clear idea of the shots and compositions I wanted to use.

Refined Sketch

I didn't make any major changes while refining the sketch. I have to admit, though, that I particularly enjoy drawing Pino's hair and mane! It's one of his most distinctive features, and I really like playing with its shape and volume.

Another interesting detail at this stage was finding the right sound effect for the wolf's reaction.
I was looking for something that sounded like a little gasp or a breathless hiccup, the kind of involuntary reaction you might make when seeing something unexpectedly exciting.
After a bit of searching online, I finally found the perfect one: "HNG..."
Apparently, it's commonly used to express a reaction to something extremely exciting or adorable. Exactly what I needed!

Since I studied comics in Italian at university, I never really had a proper English or international sound effects glossary to rely on. Over the years, I've collected quite a few PDFs, manuals, and reference sheets covering all sorts of sound effects and situations. But when it comes to something this specific, a quick internet search can be incredibly helpful! Hahaha!

Lineart

During the inking stage, I made a few minor adjustments to the characters' positions to improve the overall balance of the compositions.
Nothing too drastic, just some small tweaks to make the panels work better visually.

Coloring, Rendering & Layout

As usual, I started with the flat colors on the characters, then moved on to the background. While working on it, I also began adding lights and shadows to both the characters and their surroundings, trying to blend everything together and make them feel like part of the same environment.

For the staff changing room, I decided to use a warm and intimate lighting setup. It might be a little different from the kind of lighting you'd normally find in a changing room, which would usually be more neutral or even cool, but I wanted this scene to have a slightly different atmosphere from the previous one.

For the final touches, I added some motion lines and several visual effects to emphasize the characters' reactions.
There's the little sparkle in the lion's eye, the electric bolt giving him a sudden shock, and even some glowing bubbles to enhance the sense of amazement and surprise.
All these little details help make the moment feel more expressive and give the scene that extra bit of energy!

And that's page 5 finished! I have a feeling Luca isn't going to forget this moment anytime soon... 👀
