Hey all! Originally, I was going to call book 11 "Chain Breaker" because Victor goes to Dark Ember and frees some thralls. Of course, the book took on a life of its own, and a lot of other things happened, and all he really did on Dark Ember was establish a foothold. Still, he did free some thralls, so the title still sort of fits.

I also had the idea of using the title "World Walker" because of how he had to travel through quite a few different worlds to establish the teleport gates. Plus, I really just like that title.

What do you think? Do you have a better idea? Please say so in the comments, but remember this is for Book 11 and we need a title that is 1 - 2 words long and works as a sort of descriptor of Victor (like all the previous titles.)

World walker fits better imo because in the next book he will be the world conqueror 😤

Christopher Germany

World walker fits for this book and chain breaker for the next because he'll be freeing dark ember and probably breaking through his veil to at least I think so.

Reno

I think he travelled before book 11 too? Maybe something about mantles might be more relevant? World Walker is also the name of a novel series.. which I've read. Excellent concept, but the details disappointed a little. (I'm sure Plum would have written it better)

CallMeTee

He literally walks between worlds with the spirit walk (that happens this book right? It's hard to keep track on Patreon), and jumps between worlds a lot, establishes a lot of networks of contacts between worlds... I think World Walker not only fits, it sounds great too.

Reno

I know this didn't answer much, but the title of the book is secondary. Anyone reading this far will read it on its own merits. I also forgot what happened in book 11, specifically. 🥲

What about Dawn of Embers? It implies that it is the start of what will be a new day for dark ember as victor starts his work towards a liberated world

Reno

"Invader" or "Liberator"? Or some other word that means "guy who shows up uninvited and starts setting people free, upsetting the world order"

ThaD3adShot

Or Seed of Liberation, as victor is planting the seeds of what will be a liberated world. Or Hopes Ember, it not only brings in Victors Hope affinity but it is what he uses to stoke the flames of hope in the freed slaves. It also implies that he is the one causing the ember of hope to start for the slaves and it brings in the name of the world itself

Tenebrous Savant (Metatron)

World Shaker — implies shaking up the one world through invasive revolution, and metaphorically all the other worlds he travels, with his footseps shaking the worlds he walks. Best of both worlds.

I think world walker is a less good choice because that wasnt his focus during the book, it just happens that he did a lot of it. The story wasn't about the different world travels. I think World Beacon or the World Shaker comment above would be best

It might be worth considering… if I was reading them only when they drop as books and was on the fence, I’d laugh and any hesitation I’d have about investing more time would be gone…
