Marie Zeigler is the best friend of Nina Volkov. The adequately popular teen resides in Windenburg, is part of the Womp Jocks club, and has the additional Sage and Jester traits.

Raelynn Verma is the secret girlfriend of Micah Volkov. Yes, I said that right - that pale mfer has a gorgeous Southeast Asian baddie of a girlfriend. The bisexual queen lives in San Sequoia with her family, doesn't believe in occults (despite dating a Dormant Wolf), will take no less than exclusivity in romantic relationships, and has the additional Collector, Artist, and Sage traits.

Erika Miles is the Vampiric twin sister of Eliza Miles, as well as a member of Eliza's secret Vampire club. She spends most of her time living and hunting human Sim tourists in Selvadorada alongside her twin, doesn't care much for exclusive romantic relationships, and has the additional Muser, Artist, and Sage traits. She also hopes to have a child someday. She is Black.

Spending the first few years of her life in the foster care system, being raised in Oasis Springs, having an absent adoptive mother, and having her adoptive father die while she was studying at Foxbury Institute wasn't enough heartbreak for Anya Jarrell to endure: She had to become widowed and miscarry at 30 as well. The now 40-year-old is practically married to her job as the Landlord of her dead husband's San Myshuno apartment building, Hakim House, previously owned by his family - the Jains - for several generations. When she isn't tending to the building's many needs, she enjoys watching comedy shows, getting her nails done, and fantasizing about potentially having a child of her own with Ezra Volkov.

Anya was brought up in the foster care system, adopted at the age of four years old by an Oasis Springs couple. Her adoptive mother was not very active in her adolescent life, Anya last seeing her when she was 15 years old. She was mainly brought up and taken care of by her adoptive father, forming a close bond with him until he tragically passed away when Anya was 21 years old and away studying at Foxbury Institute. She had his remains cremated and keeps them in the closet of her townhome. Anya did not have any adoptive siblings growing up. The only person she had in her life that she actively cared about - besides her adoptive father - was her boyfriend Archie Jain, whom she met in high school and fell in love with.

Archie and Anya started dating at 15 years old, keeping it a secret from Archie's parents. He knew from the beginning that his parents would most likely disapprove of her but hoped that as he got older and becomes an eligible bachelor that he may be able to sway them in the future. Unfortunately, these plans did not work in their favor; Archie's parents never approved of Anya due to her being White, poor, and adopted. Regardless of the Jain's opinions, Anya and Archie went on to wed in a Willow Creek courthouse and enjoyed a six-year-long marriage, traveling around the Simnation and exploring various cultures, cuisines, and walks of life. Once Anya got pregnant at 30, the happy couple decided to stop travelling and moved into a Ciudad Enamorada apartment, aiming to buy an estate in the near future. These plans were cut short when Anya woke up one morning to find Archie dead on their bedroom floor; He passed from a fatal epileptic seizure. At the time, Anya was four months pregnant with their daughter, and due to the stress from suddenly losing her husband, she miscarried just a few days later.

After Archie's funeral and death, Anya attended the reading of the will of her late husband. It was then when she discovered that Archie had secretly bequeathed his property - Hakim House, a San Myshuno apartment complex owned by his family for generations - to her. He'd inherited the property from his father in his young adult years, a generations-old Jain tradition, with the intention that Archie would eventually pass it down to his offspring. If Archie had failed to bequeath the property to Anya prior to his death, ownership would've returned to his parents. Anya realized in that moment that her late husband went against his parents once again and helped set her up financially for the rest of her life and, unfortunately, may have predicted his own premature death and failure to produce an heir. Though Anya was grateful for what Archie had done, she would come to face consequences, the revelation stringing a nasty legal battle between Archie's parents and Anya for several years.

Anya was forever changed by the death of her husband. For several years, she dedicated her whole life to overseeing Hakim House, essentially "marrying" her job and what was left of Archie's legacy. Four years after becoming a widow, Anya experimented with dating once again, none of the dates successful. She eventually accepted the possibility that she would never find a love like she had with Archie ever again, dedicating more time to her job as a distraction from this grim reality. This was until she saw Ezra Volkov, one of the many tenants of her building Hakim House, purchasing the same brand of wine Archie would enjoy when he was alive.

Archie Jain was the high school sweetheart and husband of Anya Jarrell. He unfortunately passed away from a seizure at 30 years old while his pregnant wife was sleeping. Archie had a lifelong history of seizures. When he was alive, he enjoyed playing tennis, listening to World music, and frequent travel.

Archie met Anya Jarrell in high school, the two of them quickly falling in love and getting married at 24 years old in Willow Creek's courthouse, despite his parents' wishes. The Jains never approved of his relationship with Anya Jarrell as she was a White woman who came from poverty and a broken home. Regardless of what his parents had to say about his relationship, Archie went ahead and married Anya anyways, and afterwards, secretly bequeathed Hakim House, a San Myshuno apartment complex owned by his family for generations, to her in his will. Due to his lifelong struggle with epileptic seizures, Archie always kept the possibility of dying prematurely in the back of his mind and wanted to make sure his wife - knowing she came from extreme poverty and hardship - would be financially taken care of if worse came to worst, and he was right in doing so: Archie passed away from an epileptic seizure at 30 years old. Due to tensions between he, Anya, and his family, as well as bequeathing Hakim House to Anya without prior approval from his family, the Jains did not show up to his funeral and haven't spoken to Anya since... except through their lawyers. Archie is buried in Ravenwood and is frequently visited by his widow Anya.

Obviously, Jacques and Alexander "Xander" Meshram are not new Sims. However, they have reached a new life stage: the Child stage! And with the Child stage comes a plethora of new traits and new memories. It should be interesting to see how these two handle their father Mason's drug problem and Anya's introduction into their lives...
