Time to celebrate!

When I started my Patreon, I set this goal that if I ever reach 250 patrons, I will share an additional brushset. Holy smokes! I've reached it earlier this month.

And that's all thanks to YOU.

I really can't thank you enough for your support and for allowing me to devote more time to what I love doing most: creating digital art.

About this brushset:

Procreate has some great watercolor brushes in its standard library. But to be honest, it feels like they aren't always good enough to create the watercolor drawing of your dreams. That's one of the reasons why many artists created their own watercolor sets.

So, to create this pack, I first got a new physical watercolor set and tried them just to remember how watercolor brushes dynamics work. I hadn't painted watercolor physically for years!

Then I have purchased, downloaded, and analyzed hundreds of watercolor brushes from various of different digital artists. In the end, I came up with this new pack of 12 unique brushes.

When I create brushes, I always try to keep the number as low as possible. Because I know how overwhelming it can be to pick the right brush from a set of say, 40 brushes when you actually need only one or two brushes. So the less brushes, the better it is for me. I first created 20-something brushes. But then I reduced to number to 12. I believe these are the essential and all you need when painting watercolor.

Different textures were used to make them look as real as it can get. And this is how they work with the textures applied:

And this is how the complete set looks:

You can download the brushset below this post or via this alternative link:

As a side note, I think applying a paper texture on your canvas would be a good idea to give it a more realistic look. I recently shared a paperback here on Patreon. I think they'll work great with these new watercolor brushes. If you haven't downloaded them yet, you can get them here

Thank you once again for your support. It means a lot to me ❤️

hello, Watercolor layer Should be below the paper layer(cb)? Watercolor layer(Lb) Should the layer be above the paper layer...?

Hi Taty, i love this brushset and i use it for many of my drawings. But im still struggling with a good smudge brush for watercolor. Soft brush is too hard and i cant seem to find a good smudge watercolor brush in your brushset. Which one do you use most of the time? In some tutorials you use the liquid pen but i find the lines too hard and it does not smudge soft and lightly. Hope you can help me so i can improve my drawings even more
