It's official! 🥳🥳🥳

Here is the first part of the Portrait Workshop!

In this first video, I will show you how to sketch a portrait from scratch.

We will first draw a sketch grid, determine the proportions and dimensions of the face, and then draw the face all step-by-step. This video shows one of the many ways to draw a portrait. We will do everything in a "classical way" and according to the book.

As I told you in a previous post, the workshop will consist of 4 parts. I'll share a new class every few days.

We will use brushes from the new Portrait brushset. If you haven't downloaded it yet, you can get it here.

If you got the brushes, let's start!

Thank you, that’s awesome! Are you planning on making tutorials on profile and three quarter views? That would be amazing

I have always been so afraid of drawing portraits (I can't even draw a stick figure well haha) and wasn't going to do this tutorial, but this was amazing! I am so stoked with how well mine came out! Thank you so much Taty! This has given me confidence to try and develop those skills and that all hope may not be lost for me drawing this kind of stuff!
