Caricature Drawing Workshop (Part 1) (Patreon)

Caricatures are about expressing emotions, exaggerating and magnifying features.

In this Patreon workshop, I show you how to caricature your pet from start to finish.

We will use this cute dachshund photo to create a sketch and paint a portrait with realistic dimensions.

After the portrait is finished, we will turn it into a caricature by changing & exaggerating facial features and giving it a more expressive look. A sad/guilty expression in this example. 😭

Let's Start!

In this first part, we will start with creating a sketch and then add base colors. 

I added the sketch file to the tutorial files in case you want to check my version or you can simply import it and start the class after the sketching part (13:40).
