Sketch! I was asked to draw the girls NSFW and here's what I sketched for approval.

Line art! I remember I used to use stock images of photos with a filter or something for backgrounds for a lot of artwork, but since doing the comic digitally I've gotten more and more used to drawing backgrounds in color.

Flat colors! Some gradation in the background colors...
