Chapter 3 Reboot, Page 17 (Patreon)

I tried to be artsy! I tried, I did. I actually really like doing the single-color hue overlay thing I did with the girls on the right. I've done it a few times in the past and I hope I do it again for a shirt or something eventually.

Progress Images

This is the thumbnail... sort of. I did my thumbnail and then overlayed the original panel from the black and white old version. I ended up changing the rest of the sketch to fit this kind of diagonal layout.

Lineart! I didn't want the aeon pictured to have facial features, I wanted to do a callback to the shadow girls from Shoujo Kakumei Utena, if you are familiar with that older series.

Silhouettes!

Flat colors! Though I did already start doing some effects for the backgrounds...

Shadows! Didn't do any on the right since I have the hard black shadows going.

Highlights and gradations... not too much of that actually.

Line effects and some other tweaks...
