Ogawa Burukku's Content Roadmap 2024 (Patreon)
Content
I know this is kind of crazy but I made a content roadmap for everyone to see what I'm planning! This is a post for everyone, members or not, and I hope you all are excited about what I've got in store for my supporters!
August
FaLLEN Webcomic Reboot Launches in Mid-August!!
a trailer for Chapters 1-2 will go up on Youtube
Twitch art streams will resume!
The webcomic will go live on the website in mid-August. The first two chapters will be available immediately to the public, with new pages going up Fridays starting with Chapter 3. Patreon supporters ($2+ tiers) will be a chapter ahead of what goes up on the website.
I will post a trailer on Youtube to help promote the new website and comic when it goes live. Please share links to the webcomic on social media! That would help me out so much! (The trailer will go live for paid and free members here on Patreon later today.)
I will be doing live art streams of new comic pages starting in later August.
September
New Youtube review series, Manga Babble, will begin.
FaLLEN Chapter 4 concludes.
I'm happy to announce that I am finally doing the manga review series Manga Babble. I will review manga from my extensive collection from the point of view of someone who has worked for manga. The first three planned videos are for Spy x Family, Sailor V, and Wotaku Ni Koi Wa Muzukashii. I will probably go at a pace of about one video per month, since I'm also juggling the comic series, at least in the beginning.
I am pretty confident I will finish FaLLEN Chapter 4 by the end of September for Patreon tiers $2+.
October
FaLLEN Chapter 5 / Vol. 1 concludes.
Kickstarter Begins!
Chapter 5 is a pretty short chapter compared to some of the others, and with it volume 1 will come to a conclusion. If you are wondering why Chapter 5 is the end of Vol. 1 when the black and white version's volume 1 ended on Chapter 7, it's because the color printing is going to cost way more than the black and white did, especially with these books being a larger print size. I don't want to charge people $20 for a book at conventions, so I'm hoping to keep it $15 or less by keeping the page count down to about 130. Which leads me to...
THE KICKSTARTER!!! This will be my first Kickstarter since 2017, and I'm hoping to get the Kickstarter going in October. I'm super nervous but hopeful it will be a success and raise at least enough money to get the books to the printer so I can resume the con circuit again next year. I'll keep you all updated on this and what merchandise/goodies you all can expect this year. I don't have access to the printers I had in Japan anymore so I'm keeping my fingers crossed everything goes well.
Okay, sorry for the info dump! I'm really excited that August has finally come because I've got so much happening this month that I've basically spent the last 2 weeks preparing for!
