Chapter 4 Reboot, Page 26 (Patreon)

Last page of this chapter! The next post will be the chapter in its entirety, which will have some of the updated pages (now the monster skin has the fleshy texture from the start) and will be accessible to the $1 tier.

This actually didn't take me very long to do (3 days?) but I was working on flats for my friend's comic and that took up most of my time this week and last week.

Next week I'll be working on graphics for the Kickstarter and the merch for that, so that should be exciting. I've also got to come up with some ideas for the cover art for the book!

The original page! I really liked the bottom panel and wasn't sure how it would translate into color.

Shadows!

Gradations and highlights! For some reason I didn't have the highlights layer active for the backgrounds, oops. I adjusted her shoulder since it looked smooshed previously.

Patterns, textures... I also added some extra shadows for the bottom panel.

Added text! I actually adjusted the background colors on the bottom panel too, which you can see in the final image at the top of this post. This was a fun chapter to work on! I think the next chapter will be VERY easy in comparison, and about ten pages shorter. Looking forward to that! haha
