I am getting close to the pages I'm more excited to draw!

I kept uploading this and then seeing details I forgot to draw in, haha. You'll likely notice if you compare the "text" step and the final image above.

I just finished my last week of substitute teaching, which was the side gig I got to help pay for the crazy price hikes to shipping for the Kickstarter thanks to the tariffs and the war... well, that's the last time I'll ever do that, haha. Interesting life experience, though.

Sometimes I miss working in black and white, haha. Here's the original page, which was pretty cluttered in places with dialogue so I took out a lot and simplified some aspects.

Drawing all the things!

I decided I wanted to have the thrift shop have walls that have different colors, so some of the walls will be white or purple or whatever. I love trendy thrift shops but I haven't been in one since living in Japan.

I never know what to call this step... shading? Rendering? Calling it "rendering" when it's cel shading seems wrong.

...wait a second, I totally forgot their pant and skirt patterns! (goes back and adds it, nobody will ever know...)
