Massive Pokemon Commission (Patreon)

This thing took me years to do... I was commissioned to do this in 2016 (2015 maybe?) and at first I was making good time but then a lot of personal crap hit the fan and then when that was resolved I was pregnant and... well, you all know. I was asked to draw an old high school buddy's family with a TON of pokemon. I actually had to remove a few because it got too cluttered. I drew his family as various trainer types and he told me a lot of specifics for the pokemon's actions, etc. Looking back, I wish I had just let myself be in charge of the actions and whatnot, because that caused a lot of problems when putting everyone together into the same pic. 

I was surprised because the three pokemon I enjoyed drawing the most were Ludicolo, Trevenant, and Giratina!

The background is actually a very tiny, super pixelated background from one of the DS games that I then enlarged and painted over. I wanted it to look very much like they were all in the pokemon world, so I tried that method, redrawing and removing large parts of that image to fit this scene.

Kenny, thanks for asking me to do this for you... but sorry it took me FOREVER to do. You are a very patient man. (I will probably never take on a commission like this again, haha... way more work than I could handle)
