Leif Rookye Commission (FF14 Catboy) (Patreon)

I was asked to draw a FF14 original catboy character. I did a version both with and without goggles. This was a bit tricky because the client had me do several redos, haha.

Even though the character was a bit of a sexier male character, I was asked to draw him in a shounen manga inspired pose. So I did this rough sketch, which wasn't as rough as I usually do them.

Inked it! But the client asked me to change a few things.

I moved his ears up higher and changed his hair a bit, adjusted his fingers, etc.

Did some flat colors...

Redid the hair a bit...

I fell a little behind and quickly finished this, added a background and did the shadows and the like. I then did the goggles, which were very tricky...

I thought I was done but I realized I forgot a pattern on the pants (Photoshop kept crashing and I kept losing data until I finally updated the software).

All righty, finally finished this sucker!!
