Since I was already running late with this, today I sat down and did something I have been meaning to do for, believe it or not, years. I have not been super happy with the levels of black in my printed copies of the comic, but I was too afraid to mess with my settings. But today I decided to go in and adjust the threshold a teensy bit at a time to see what levels got me the darkest darks without making things too murky and without taking out some of the lighter tones. I am not totally sure if this will look better printed, but I went from a threshold of 120 to 180. Kind of a big, scary jump for me. I plan on printing some demo copies of the book before I do the official printing, so here's hoping things look good on paper.

I do hope this works... normally the storks require a lot of digital spot blacking touch ups because the tone looks ick, but I had to do hardly anything this time with the stronger threshold. Not sure if you guys will notice a difference.

Okay, enough shop talk, haha. I wanted to welcome the new backers on Twitter but I wasn't sure what to post. So I'll say it here-- hi, new backers! Welcome to the club :D
