Chapter 1 Reboot, Page 27 (Patreon)

Finished this last night but had to do some other things before I could get on Patreon.

I did change the monster's design a smidge, I'll probably just go back and add some stuff when I finish the chapter. Mostly just added those side fangs and the forehead jewel thingy.

Here's the behind the scenes stuff:

The thumbnail I did. Not much different, honestly.

I didn't really do sketching much, I just kind of inked away. Line art on top of that thumbnail.

Finished line art, got panels in place and threw in a dialogue balloon.

Silhouettes.

Flat colors.

Added shadows. One of the only times I did two layers for shadows. I will often do that for illustrations but I don't do it on my comic pages (usually) because it takes more time.

Finishing touches... I think I forgot to take a screen grab between this and the last one, so missing a step, but you get the idea. Action lines and highlights, gradation, etc.
