I ended up moving the dialogue...

Lineart and spot blacking. Added clothing!

Silhouettes.

Flat colors.

Shadows.

Highlights and gradation, and of course blood.

Textures, patterns, some effects...

I think there area  few more things I touched up but mostly this is just the dialogue and sound effects. Originally the last line was said on top of the sword vanishing but it didn't look quite right in an American comics format, for some reason.

In a few days I'm going to release the completed chapter in one single post so you can read the pages together in order :D
