Chapter 3 Reboot, Page 5 (Patreon)

Blasting through these! My pace slowed a bit because I needed to do some commissions but I'm still getting them done :D

One thing I am hoping to achieve with this reboot is to set up the antagonistic relationship between Arma and Lamia a bit more believably. Arma feels like Lamia abandoned her in the first chapter, which is not how it was in the original. In the original I don't think it was very clear why she clashed with Lamia. Here, I think Arma would have gotten over it eventually if Lamia hadn't been so... easy to dislike! haha

Thumbnail! Most of this page is new, the only panel art I borrowed from the original was the middle one.

Inks and spot blacking! 

I don't know why I made the bottom panel lineart so thick! I also don't know why I cut off Lamia's head in the middle panel... haha.

Silhouettes!

Flat colors!

Shadows! I'm trying to get better with shading background elements.

Highlights and color gradations!

Added some textures and patterns, line effects, etc. I also moved everything down a bit in the middle panel (no more lobotomies for Lamia) and added the puke back in. Eww.

Added the dialogue and sound effects!! All done :D
