Even before listening, you already had me at “friends to lovers”, but after reaching the end of the audio, I have to say that it was one of the sweeter, more compelling NSFW audios that you’ve created. It just…really made me happy. Admittedly, I was a little nervous in the beginning because the speaker mentioned that he had been seeing someone else. All I wanted was for him to reveal some kind of romantic attraction or feelings for his best friend/the listener. By the end, when he said that maybe he should be going on dates with the listener…well, my heart strings had definitely been pulled, and I was verbally saying, “Aww” and smiling. I loved the gentle teasing and playfulness throughout the video (I laughed at the thumbs-up part). It was clear that the speaker and listener were very comfortable and at ease with each other, and I’m glad you portrayed their relationship that way. It’s one of my favorite things about the “friends to lovers” trope, honestly. I also thought that the kisses, which seemed more delicate, added to the overall softness of the tone. You really did a lovely job with this one :) And thank you for the double uploads yesterday! That was delightful surprise.

There is something in this audio that stuck out for me personally. It is the fact that your writing and dialogue have improved even in the time that I've known you! The moment in the audio where that hit me was when the listener gives a "thumbs up" response to the best friend on what they are asking. This is because realistically if a best friend approached you with this then the instinct would be to joke about it or assume they are doing a setup for some prank/joke. This is shown by the thumbs up that the listener still isn't sure the best friend is being serious about what they are asking or bringing up and gives an unserious response as result. It isn't until the best friend continues the topic and doesn't deflect that the listener realizes they are being earnest. It would be pretty easy to just shove the plot forward by not having this dialogue or back and forth but personally I appreciate the work you put in because it does add a level of realism and immersion that one normally only gets from shows or movies with good write

Also a side tangent, this reminds me of all the times I had to bring up a heavy topic to a friend and I try and think of all the different ways the conversation can go and what responses I would give. Every single time I've tried to predict the start and finish of a conversation I get it 95% wrong because people are not as predictable despite many being creatures of habit! Anyway that was a funny thought I wanted to share!

I agree! I was also trepadatious as I'm not a fan of audios where either party cheat on an S.O., but, there is a difference betwen "dating" someone, and being In a relationship with someone- that first being non-exclusive, the latter being monogamous (unless a poly relationship ofc). And the vibe REALLY did feel like close friends- for example, when my best friend was dating this girl, I helped him "practice" certain things (he's tall, she's short, Me also being a short queen, I helped him figure out (fully clothed) certain....positions he wanted to try). Long story short, I remember how it trtransitioned from awkward to how surprisingly comfortable I was with him doing it - not an easy atmosphere to capture in JUST audio. (Oh, and the girl? They're now engaged :P I even helped him pick out the ring as it turned out she was an old school friend of mine!)
