I loved *everything* – and I really do mean everything – about this. I keep having to change the order of my favorites; out of everything you’ve created so far, this honestly skyrocketed to the very top. I will always have a weakness for gentle and loving intimacy between characters, especially if they already have a deep emotional bond (what can I say, it’s the demi in me). Regarding the intimacy itself - the explicit consent, the checking in with each other, the whispered sweet nothings - all of that had my heart squeezing in happiness. Seriously, I couldn't keep the silly, besotted smile off of my face. In terms of the audio's plot, the beginning felt especially realistic (and also nostalgic for me): picking someone special up from the airport, the drive that seems endless, finally reaching the destination, and physically showing that person your room for the first time. The sound effects were exceptional, by the way. They really enhanced the listening experience and made it more even more immersive. There was so much about this that was achingly sweet. In particular, I adored how nervous the speaker was, and how he kept saying, “hi.” Such a simple word, and yet, it can convey so much. It certainly did here. Truthfully, two of my favorite parts of the entire audio were the questions, "Can I give you a hug?" and "Can I hold your hand?" I thought that was incredibly sweet and respectful of the speaker to ask. As a touch averse person, I appreciate it whenever someone asks me to initiate physical contact, rather than assume I'd be okay with it. It was a small thing to include in the audio, I know, but it meant a lot to me as a listener. Also, based on the context, it seemed like the speaker and the listener had been in a long-distance relationship for quite some time. Long distance anything (romantic relationship, friendship, etc.) can be exceedingly difficult, and the time spent together, no matter how short or long, can feel like the best thing in the world. I was delighted the speaker and listener were able to share this moment together. Thank you for writing and performing this amazing and lovely story <3 Oh, and Happy 4th!
