PLEASE READ & NOTE: A lot of degradation in this audio, and kind of dubcon

It's a quiet night, and you're enjoying a movie while everyone else is out. A mysterious voice has been calling you again and again tonight while you're home alone. At first he seems friendly, so you humor him for a while, but he eventually lets his true nature slip. Worrying something might actually happen, you rush to secure the doors and hang up the phone, but it's too late.

It's my first time writing a horror scenario, but I did like the new experience and wanted to try some things this month for Halloween. Having to sound threatening and scary for an audio hasn't really been anything I've done before in audios though. But I really wanted the immersive experience, so I did my best to get into the character! Trying to describe this without spoiling haha.

I hope you like how it turned out!

Please let me know if you're interested in more of these kinds of stories, so I can make more.

Take care♥

I have a lot of thoughts for this one! First it was nice seeing you want to slip into the getting into character as I find people have more fun when they are invested. I would say the closest you've come to this level of sinister was when you did the jealous coworker audio where the confrontation was in the new office. Being a horror buff, I enjoyed the nods and references to Scream, almost wonder if you had to watch it again for this audio perhaps? I also liked the addition of the TV audio and the creaking floorboards as they were nice touches for atmosphere and suspense. Also seeing "corruption" activates the same neurons for me that "mindbreak" does so I knew it was going to be a fun audio! I'm definitely a fan of this one and recommend anytime you see the chance to play this or anyone that lets you "get into character" to take that chance! I think it leads often to a great end result when the creator gets to flex their creative muscles and have a bit of fun with it!

I think you showed a lot of love for the source material in this. I can imagine getting into the headspace of a more villainous character was challenging for you, but I'm glad you pushed through it to deliver something new. I personally considered the content pretty mild, all things considered -- it is spicy like tabasco, not spicy like buldak (to the degree that some can't even eat it!) You found a good balance, I think, so that those less comfortable with this type of scenario could still let go and enjoy it, while those more familiar with, or enthusiastic for, this type of content would be able to indulge. Good work as always Jae, you keep your listeners on their toes. Looking forward to seeing what you'll cook up next, too -- don't be afraid to push those boundaries and challenge yourself! It's how we grow, after all. ^^
