Hey all - the video is finally here! As some of you may have seen on the Discord, basically i'm on holiday 20th-25th June and knew I wouldn't be able to get the Skip video done in that time. It still has a good 4.5 weeks worth of editing needing doing on it (manga editing really does take so unnecessarily long). So! I thought I'd do a compromise and create another video idea I had for the future, and release it much earlier. Just so you guys have got something in the meantime whilst I still work on the Loafer video when i get back from holiday!

I'm a big fan of Heartstopper, and with the live adaptation now out, and it being pride month, felt it super fitting to work on this video now. I hope you all enjoy it!!!!

Have a lovely morning/afternoon/evening, and I'll catch you guys soon! (I'm currently going to be working on the subtitles tomorrow morning, so if you're wanting to watch with them, you may have to wait a tiiinnny bit, apologies!)

The video won't be live for everyone till tomorrow or Friday, so enjoy the early release!

- Dani

The IMPORTANCE of Heartstopper

Since it's release on Netflix, Heartstopper has taken the internet by storm. I've always wanted to do a video on Heartstopper. As someone who has been reading the story prior to the live adaptation for years now, doing a video on the story was always a given for me. With the show now out and it being pride month, it just felt even more fitting to push this video out a little earlier (as it's still taking a while to edit my Skip and Loafer video). This was quite different to edit compared to my normal manga videos, and came with challenges I hadn't come across before. But I hope it all sounds and looks okay - as I'd love to cover more western stories in the future! 🍃 OTHER 🍃 TWITTER: https://twitter.com/linesinmotion PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/linesinmotion SOURCE ONE: https://www.buzzfeed.com/sam_cleal/heartstopper-netflix-alice-oseman-interview ☕ CONTRIBUTE TRANSLATED SUBTITLES/CAPTIONS ☕ https://amara.org/en/videos/tP8BKFxXXFtX/info/wwwyoutubecomwatchv6l_zpu1zbxm/?team= 🌈 TIMESTAMPS 🌈 00:00 - 02:32 A story about teens FOR teens 02:33 - 04:47 Preconceived judgement 04:48 - 08:34 Masculinity and the unknown 08:35 - 11:19 Developing a healthy relationship 11:20 - 13:01 Why Heartstopper works 13:02 - 13:35 Outro
