It's finally here, woohoo!! 🥳🥳 It feels like this video has been a long time coming, and I couldn't thank you guys enough for the patience, support and excitement you have all shown for the video. With over 500 separate manga panels edited and animated, this manga video makes for the most complex one I've done yet. Phew!

I know there's quite a few of you who started reading this manga after my recommendation quuiiiiiitteee some time ago on my very first video - and I said I'd make a video based on it - so here it is. It is a little spoiler-y. But being it's slice of life manga, it's not narrative-breaking in the sense of enjoyment, so I hope those who haven't read the manga will still enjoy!

Also, it's having an anime!!!!!!

I'll be doing another post across the weekend where I'll talk about two things with you guys. But until then, I hope you enjoy this ad-free release (i'll put it up for the public later in the evening).

And ofc, any feedback or comments are totally welcome. I have decided to shorten my outros. Looking at the feedback and analytics in the youtube backened, more than 98% of viewers drop off because of how long my ramble outros last - and I want to push the patreon names and a comment highlight instead - keeping it fresh.

And once again, thank you so SO much for the love and support.

Skip and Loafer - Slice of Life Manga at its Best

Hey everyone, it's been a minute since the last upload - hope everyone is good. Today is a video on Skip and Loafer, a seinen series that very quickly made it towards the top of my favourite's list! Skip and Loafer was actually in my very first video (the manga recommendation one) and I'd still fully recommend the story to this day. It has so much love to give from its cast and subverts a lot of tropes you normally see in romance manga. I have such a blast with it! And it's getting an ANIME!!! With Tomoyo Kurosawa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so hyped!!!!! This took a tremendous amount of time to edit, so any help with sharing or commenting would be much appreciated (though, a lot of you good'uns do anyways haha) 🐼 OTHER 🐼 TWITTER: https://twitter.com/linesinmotion TIKTOK: https://www.tiktok.com/@linesinmotionyt PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/linesinmotion 🌈 TIMESTAMPS 🌈 00:00 - 01:27 Being particular with romance manga 01:28 - 4:02 Mitsumi’s drive and influential prowess 04:03 - 07:35 Shima’s kind and selfless nature 07:36 - 09:44 Shima and Mistumi’s loving dynamic 09:45 - 12:25 Yuzuki, the problems of popularity 12:26 - 14:00 Mako’s progression as an outsider 14:01 - 17:06 Mika, ideologies of self-worth 17:07 - 18:41 Nao, the important adult figure 18:42 - 20:06 The fundamentals of Skip and Loafer 20:07 - 20:26 Outro
