The delights of Rome are as seductive as they are dangerous, and freedom is the most elusive prize of all.

"Ancient Rome" won the poll!

I have to admit I'm a little in love with this caption and the images I made. I was going for a GLADIATOR feel. Hope you like it! 😊

Beautiful renderings.

You minx, Emory. This absolutely begs for a sequel, after that ending. Just as you knew it would… By the way, are you familiar with the story of Elagabalus, who was reputed to have been Rome’s only transgender emperor?

Quote made by a mutant from the old "1984" Warren Comic in a mini-series titled "Idi and Me"... "Me like do perversions upon her supple body..."

My Latin is rather rusty, but this should translate to "Such a beautiful Irish lass."

💖💖💖 Thank you, Maggie! This was a fun one!

Thanks, Mike. I really like how epic these turned out!

Thank you so much, Robert! I have some ideas for a sequel so this time it may indeed happen. Plus I had a lot of fun with the images, too. But no, I haven't heard of Elagabalus. I'll definitely look her up!

I imagine a redhead in the Roman Empire would illicit similar comments. Thank you, Fin!
