I made the first Reformation back in 2018, but the idea stuck with me, and I've always wanted to revisit. And now I have! And it was lots of fun, too.

It's not necessary to read the first Reformation, but here's a link in case you want to since this is pretty much a direct sequel.

Big sister / new sister is a knockout. While Dani is definitely a cutie, Alanna appears to be the beneficiary of improvements in New Horizons' program over the past couple of years. Senator Daugherty's support is evidently paying dividends.

Daviegh

My goodness, I need more of this series. Absolutely love it.

Robertlouis

It’s an improvement in every way, Emory. The passing of the years shows just how much your art has developed and matured, and with it your storytelling through the medium of illustration. Brilliant! xx

Jenny S

Why do I get the feeling Daugherty's visit might be very eventful for the senator? ;) Excellent work as always.

Maggie Heels

I cried reading back first part yesterday and of course cried again reading this... What can I say... Emory keeps my eyes properly watered all the time for which I am eternally gratefull 🥰🥰🥰

Thomas Tolliver

Wonderful. But where's the pin up of Alanna in a dress or skirt? 😉

Tim

Or in her red and white candy cane striped bikini 😜

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you both! If her story gets 40 likes, I'll put it up for next month. 😊

If this is in the same universe as your other work I could easily see someone like Davis, Mr. Hutchinson, or even Nick's dad ending up in the New Horizon's program if they were ever caught by the authorities.

Thomas Tolliver

This story needs 3 more likes for a pinup! Doooo eeet!!!

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you both! I had fun (maybe too much fun) writing the letter to the senator - and of course with the images! Alanna turned out really cute, if I do say so myself. 😊

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Tim! My guess is that Dani simply never went with FFS. It's a big procedure. But maybe Alanna will talk her sister into it! 😉

Emory Ahlberg

Oooh, I'm so glad you like it, Daviegh. I plan on doing more in the future.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you so much, Robert. It's always encouraging to hear that the evolution of my work is noticeable. I'm always trying to refine both my technique and the way I convey the story. I had a lot of fun with the "in-universe" aspect of this one, like the envelope and making the logo.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Jenny! The Senator is a woman (Diana) - but maybe she has an unruly aid she might bring along! 😂

Emory Ahlberg

Absolutely they could - although I'm not sure they'd complete the program. A few of them might be beyond help for the PhMS! 😉

Great stuff Em.....hope u do more of these :-) x
