Sandy and Josh take a stroll down memory lane...

Wow, we're so close to both episode 50 and to 1,000 pages for Half Sisters. 😊

This is a long 35 pages, but I love writing Sandy and Josh. Honestly, Sandy is so different from Nikki. Sure, she's still trying to figure out whether she really wants to embrace being a woman, but she's starting from a different place than Nikki simply because she never truly liked her life as Scott. He just... existed, especially after his parents died and he was sent to live with his shitty alcoholic uncle.

But as Sandy she has a chance for something new.

So so sweet! What happened to the girl who submissively asked Josh to order her what to do when they first made love? Sandy continues to blossom and grow. She really seems more certain than ever of what she wants and is not hesitating to go after it. I'm so rooting for these two and loving where this relationship is heading.

Oh Emory you tricky romantic. I was uncertain about the strange detour the story was taking and then, ‘pow!’ You have again set up all your readers for such sweet exchanges between Josh and Sandy. I loved the significant unconscious shifts revealed Josh and how in caption 26 in which he clearly views Sandy as a girl. A girl he certainly has very strong feelings. Whilst he is yet to openly claim her as ‘his girl,’ his strong masculine protective instincts certainly announces the depth of his underlying feelings for Sandy. I expect the next chapter will also reveal the extent of his physical sexual attraction and desires to and for Sandy as girl and ‘his woman.’

It is nice to see sandy recognize that her new life is in so many ways better than her old. Where Nick was stripped of a life at the pinnacle of Alpha male status, Sandy started out as a loser. Being a rich heiress has to beat life as a future prison bitch. The relationship between her and Josh is very believable and maybe the healthiest relationship we have seen in this medium for a long time. We are on the verge of Happiness!!! We know this can't last!

Thanks, Tim! That girl is still there in terms of whaty she likes in the bedroom. But outside, in the world, she's beginning to take the reins. Honestly, I think she's slowly figuring out that nothing is as binary as it seems. Sure, she likes to pretend to be a maid for sexy time - but that doesn't mean she can't ALSO be a badass B. 😊

Page 22 LOOOL ❣️❣️❣️ It seems that boobies are a huge downside for Sandy, if she would consider returning to her former life as a burglar. Sandy thinking about Josh while doing things in the house: [Geezzz, had no idea he changed so much... Mr Righteous, Mr Law-Is-Good haha, he's kinda so much sweeter that way... and overprotective a bit maybe?] Josh thinking about Sandy doing something in the house: [What if that light wasn't on timer??? What if somebody caught her and do something to her... I'll break a neck everybody for a single hair from her head...] Josh thoughts since between pages 29-35: [I'm a lucky guy, I'm a very lucky guy, I'm a very very lucky guy, I'm dead and I'm in heaven and she's my angel?, Angels wear hot dresses?, My Angel for sure... How can I focus on a turkey while such hot Angel stands in front of me...] At page 36: [I'm the fucking most luckiest guy in the whole wide world !!!!!!!!] Sandy thoughts at page 36: [Oh...something big is poking my thigh... it looks like mystery is solved what we will eat for the dessert] At page 30 when Sandy told Josh she rented the place... I thought she would jingle the keys in hand and say she bought it (instead of rented..). :)

Thanks, Bill! Josh and Sandy are definitely hitting some #couplegoals. I agree it's refreshing to have a guy like Josh who's comfortable in his own skin. He's as solid as a rock, even when the ground is shifting.

Thanks, mdaily! Yeah, Sandy's definitely leveled up from her days as Scott. It's not every day you trade in lock picks for Louboutins. And now that she and Mrs. Ferris have come to a big of an understanding, she's finally able to appreciate certain aspects of becoming her "daughter" - even if it wasn't something she initially chose. Yeah, poor Nick / Nikki is a whole different kettle of fish. As far as Nick could tell, he was on top of the world and now Nikki's back at the bottom of a very tall mountain - this time in a skirt. Now, did Nick really, truly, deep down want to be a football star? I think that's up for debate. He definitely liked the attention and prestige that came with it, though!

Yes! Thank you, Wes. I think that allows us to see how Josh still TRULY feels about Sandy despite the revelation that she isn't "really" a trans girl.

They’re both still ever so slightly fooling themselves that their feelings are all about the friend they’ve known since childhood and that that fundamentally hasn’t changed, whereas for Josh, certainly, and for the audience, the evidence is, well, ahem, plain for all to see. And his protectiveness towards Sandy isn’t just what’s always been there towards the smaller and scrawnier half of their partnership, it’s developed into something much deeper, more complex and much more intimate. The next chapter could be very interesting indeed. Meanwhile down in Texas Nikki’s self-delusion is about to be shattered altogether. Her world is going to fall apart, with only Zach and her mother as sympathetic allies to shore her up, and that’s only if she’ll let them. Oh dear…

But I think the electricity between them could power all of Boston at this point. 😉 Josh's protectiveness has definitely taken on a new flavor, and it's not just the 'I've got your back' kind anymore. It's more of an 'I've got your back, front, and everything in between' kind of deal. Also, yes, Nikki, is about to hit some emotional turbulence....

This is so sweet and hot in equal measure... I really appreciate the subtlety in the sexual and romantic dynamics emerging in the writing here. I hope that both Nikki and Sandy each in their own way will retain a central element of homoeroticism, it feels like it's really tastefully explored in this series and that is something seldom done with such consistency in trans erotica. And poor Josh is trying to stay cool and not think about how hot Sandy is because he's still very unsure about how to feel knowing that Scott was "forced" to become Sandy.
