We have 25 new pages of Jack & Jill! Phase 9 is only just getting started, but we already have a lot of plots up in the air. I hope you enjoy the multiple characters!

This part has more "world-building" than is usual, with a bit of glimpse into the workings of Second Dawn.

The inner workings of the Second Dawn is very interesting. Xu and Davis have been controlling things from the shadows without the victim realizing in terms of Jack/Jill case being aware, but not fully of everything at the same time. They used rebirth and self-discovery of their victims to their advantage, but at same time not really realizing this could backfire on them.

Oh Emory, you really are a genius! I am blown away by your life skills shown by your capacity to create such a realistic world. Your latest chapter reveals not only your visionary imagination but also your understanding and ability to create such authentic power point business model flow charts. Wow! As for Mason, he is so small minded and arrogant. He over estimates both his capacities and worth. His blind anger (at Mr Xu re Kendra) is going to lead him to make a fatal mistake. I suppose he is now odds on favourite suspect for the ‘who shot JR’ (drawing upon old popular tv reference) regarding Mr Xu. In the meantime, I feel so sorry for Brooke, she is so pretty and cute- yuk, stuck with Mason. Jill also has grown so much in the story. Showing great insight, compassion and understanding. She also shows such a great capacity to step back and analyse and understand the different pressures, issues and motivations that shaped Holly (and others). You have really set up this story and are showing your capacity around juggling so many balls at once (excuse the pun). It will be interesting seeing the different stories, sub groups and sub plots playing out in the next few chapters. Truly brilliant work Emory thank you.

There’s clearly another plan already in place for Brooke. It looks like Davis might be getting into a power play with Xu. He might have accepted the loss of Kendra, but he’s dead set on getting whatever he wants as a replacement, and if that means challenging Xu all the way, he’s up for it. Interesting to say the least!

I mean, why does Davis think _China_ is ripe for feminization as opposed to any other country? I mean, shouldn't he start with a nice small country like -- I don't know -- Grenada first to work out the process? As usual, freaking amazed by the thoughtfulness behind these logos. Cracker jack graphic design team there at Clinic 12. And if Clinic 13 is really going online in "a year" it must've been under construction for a while. I wonder where that's going to be located? I kind of love that Davis wants to take Brooke for himself. Can you imagine the ways that she will resist that Kendra never would? I certainly can. Brooke is so much smarter than Davis, like she can sabotage him in so many ways, and probably do it surgically, sneaky, and plant evidence against people who need to be removed to bring down Second Dawn. This is what I like to call sowing the seeds of your own destruction.

Just reread Brooke's introduction and Holly has a line when reassuring Brooke that she's not just a man playing dress up or else Davis would have taken her. What a hit that he settled on her now.

I think I know why Davis has a gun in hand at the beginning. Probably he was told that Brooke is off limits to him and if that comic would be drawn in cartoon way he would probably be fuming steam from both ears and nostrils with bloated red head... hehehe

I agree with Maggie, Brooke is not for this scoundrel. Emory please think big feminize Davis😈. Feminize him so he doesn't cause more problems for Jill and the Coven. Jill's facial expressions are masterfully done, especially the ones on pages 20-22 could serve as desktop wallpaper.😘😍

I'm a sucker for the world building, so knock yourself out. Great job on the chapter and handling so many moving parts. Loving the cinematic "44 hours later" bits. Definitely adding some tension there. If Second Dawn falls, I'm curious if we'll get to see how potent that HRT v2 is.

Love how the stories are having this touch point and reminding us of the interconnections. Also the anticipation building up through the cuts between the crisis happening at the coming out event and the flashbacks in interesting. Waiting for that payoff! Also, I totally called it about Davis taking a payback after losing Kendra! Didn't see Brooke being the target, excited to see what happens next!

BTW, you might want to check out the Google sheet I made to help Emory's subscribers find the type of information you are looking for (and a lot more). Emory posted a link at the top of the Table of Contents section (https://www.patreon.com/posts/table-of-92501673). To find information on Brooke, or any of the characters Emory has created, just click on the "XU-NIVERSE" tab then find the column on the right that has your girl's name (Brooke is column X). Scroll down the column and you will find an X in all the episodes and other items in which that character has appeared (you can also do an A-to-Z sort on Brooke's column and all the matches will appear at the top of the page). This works the same under the PINUPS tab as well (Brooke is column Z and she has two pinups so far).

(Although I believe you mean 'Davis' and not 'Mason' in this case - don't worry, there are a lot of characters! ❤️) Davis like to imagine himself in the role of a truly important man, but Xu knows his worth. He's a brute and a bully and a sociopath, and this has been useful in his role as the administrator of the 'Toy' department of Second Dawn. But he thinks he's far more important than he actually is! Jill's empathy is her superpower... long neglected during her life as Jack. But could it also bring her to danger? Will she be able to save everyone? And what happens if she tries?

Thank you, Robert! Brooke is in the process of choosing / seducing who to be with from among the Platinum Star candidates. That's a privilege the companions receive that the toys (obviously) do not. So, by attempting to "steal" Brooke from the companion department, he really is testing the limits of his authority!

I wondered that too. It seems foolhardy in all sorts of ways - unless Xu is himself Chinese and it’s yet another means of Davis testing his patience and his limits. It could be that Davis is considering a coup.

Elaine now has effective control of the transition to full femininity of three gorgeous girls. At this stage sexy Sophia is 75% female physically and mentally. Beautiful Kendra is 100% physically but nil mentally. Darling Nikki is 50% physically (when can she get rid of that awful penis sheath?) and perhaps only 25% mentally but that seems likely to increase rapidly.

Mr Xu is Chinese, but Second Dawn doesn't operate there. 🤔 Kendra is EXTREMELY smart, and she hates Davis for obvious reasons. You're absolutely right that she could destroy him from within! Of course, Davis thinks he could "domesticate" her since he's sooo good at his job...

Great catch, Richard! And Brooke obviously hates Davis because he's the one who forced her into the program after her own algorithm "recommended" her. Plus, she's supposed to be allowed to pick her own Platinum Star member to be with! Yes, this will be a huge blow if it is allowed to proceed...

Very shocking flashforwards (on page 2, I don't know why, but Davis reminds me of Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood in House of Cards). I'm always suspicious when the author or director 'throws the killer in our face' in a very direct way, so I don't think it will be Davis who shoots Xu... although I also don't trust that trick and that it's done on purpose so that we discard it for 'easy'... hehehehe I think a lot will happen in the remaining hours, so I'd rather not try to guess right now, because I imagine that more suspects will be added as the hours go by. I'm really looking forward to seeing the meeting of the Coven and getting to know its members and how they work, their relationships, interrelationships, etc. Also, with the news that Gina will bring and the reunion of Jill and Holly, it's going to be a very, very interesting meeting. On the other hand, Emory, a doubt, are there female Platinum Members? Keep up the good work!

am i surprised davis seems to be the catalyst for our flash forward we had originally? no. could this be a way of you throwing davis the obvious bad guy out as a red herring? yes. i think somehow you redeem this man slightly even tho he’s trash. like i can see something happening where he helps someone live in his last moments or something. either way super stoked to read a ton all at once :D
