How far would you go to keep a promise? Would you go on a long journey? Face dangerous beasts? Risk life and limb? For Keelan, a hunter in a remote village that worships the fertility goddess Lunovín, keeping his promise means something far more profound...

I hope you enjoy reading the ending of Keelan's story as much as I enjoyed its writing. 😊

EDIT: I added a complete version to the attachments below. All 50 pages in one PDF!

Such a sweet and beautiful ending to this opening chapter of Keelan's story.

Omagathief

I agree, what a beautiful and rich ending to one story and the beginning of a much happier story 🥰❤️

Gemma

Beautiful story Emory. One so many will read with tears of joy, of love and of self acceptance.

Lots of tears of joy ❣️❣️❣️ Wonderful story, so heartwarming ❣️❣️❣️ any chances for some short epilogue? Like 5y, 10y, 15y after?

Sky

I deliberately saved this story up to read it all together and it was a joy from start to finish. Mystical, mythical, beguiling, beautifully illustrated and with an authentic narrative thread. And the perfect conclusion. Just wonderful Emory.

Wojtek

I agree, a very educational story about accepting change and keeping a promise❣️❣️❣️ Also, it would be good to know what happened with Keela and Tomas, was he right about the baby being a girl?

I waited to read the whole thing in one go. It's a beautiful, sweet, romantic tale that feels like it is telling a truth in the way that the best fables and legends do.

Thank you, Robert! And I just added a "complete" version with all 50 pages. 😊

What a wonderful story! I love the mix of the fantastical and genuine gender feels, it's a rare mix. I know it's a rarity among the stories here, but pregnancy/motherhood is something I ache for, and while it will never be true for me, seeing it become true for someone, even in fiction, is its own kind of soothing balm. Great job <3

Gemma

I just wanted to comment on your beautiful images. The images of Keela being taken by Tomas and the one of her in that beautiful blue dress are in particular appealing.

Aww dads speech made me tear up

Such a beautiful story. Im filled with emotion here 3 times today, or is that 4? Dorley, The Catch, and now... now... This absolute gem has this kind of emotion and ending!! Thank you!

FYI, the complete PDF seems to be missing part 2 page 5.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Gemma! I really loved her finding herself in this one. 💕

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Becca. Only now getting around to fixing that!

Lovely, sweet story. But I tried to download the complete pdf and I get a "not found" message.

Emory Ahlberg

Hi Mike! That is really weird. I just re-uploaded it for you. Please try again. 😊

Mike R Pen

Emory, thank you for the fast reply. The pdf downloaded easy peezy. Thank you!

Samantha Louise

A beautiful but bittersweet end. Her sister saved her but never got to know her. I'm glad Keela will make sure her child knows her aunt. Tearing up a bit, thinking about missed opportunities, lost chances.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Samantha. 💕 The ending made me tear up as I wrote it, as well.
