As Mr. Xu forces Dr. Mason to make a choice, Jill helps Ryan find unexpected comfort in his new body—but tomorrow's Coming Out event looms over them all.

P.S. I've also added a "dramatis personae" for this episode in the attachments below in case you need a refresher on some of the characters who are seen / mentioned!

We're definitely getting closer to the Big Event, and all that will bring with it. I think this may be the first time we've seen Xu truly afraid. And while I understand Morosini's desire to avenge his murdered lover, is there more to the history between these two men that causes such fear in Xu? Oh, and Dr Mason is gonna be gorgeous. I wonder what name she'll go by.

Tiki D

Dr. Mason is accepting his faults with ironic dignity. Female Mason (if named Melissa) looks sexy and hot. This would be interesting What if story if Jack and Mason switched roles, like Jack hired by Xu to be Melissa's handler. This would lead to interesting senarios that would differ from the original timeline.

Gemma

Beautiful images Emory and an episode that moved from menacing to romantic, sensual scenes. Dr Mason’s current physique certainly is the epitome of masculinity. As much as he hid his reaction to Mr Xu, it must have been quite shocking for him to see his new projected feminised form. In conclusion Emory this episode seems to be one in which all the pieces are being put in place in the build up to what will be a very action filled episode. I’m not sure what the next piece that needs to be positioned before ‘all hell breaks loose,’ let alone what will follow in the aftermath!? Great episode Emory with outstanding images.

Jade Diaz

So much to love here, but I think "multiple orgasms are paywalled behind estrogen. Wanna try?" is probably my favorite dialog line you've written in a long long long time. LMAO. Morosini doesn't need the things Xu says he "doesn't care about" because his intention is to take over Clinic 12 for his own ends. Obviously. Like, win or lose, Josie is cooked :( Laying down a marker here.

Tim

I just went back to take a fresh look at Phase 8-Part 13—Morosini's only appearance. It's worth a second read, and while if doesn't really reveal why Xu fears Morosini, it does shed some light on the current episode. Read together (along with some other Phase 9 parts) it sure looks like Mike is Morosini's "inside man" and if that's the case, Xu is screwed if he relies on Mike as he seems to indicate he intends to in this episode.

Jade Diaz

One tinfoil hat/redditor theory I want to propose is that Xu is feeding Mike false information to see if it gets back to Morosini/Josie to confirm Xu's suspicions about Mike's loyalty. Also... why *does* Xu put so much trust in Mike anyway? For a man who has been betrayed by his henchmen more than a few times, it seems weird to me that Mike is given such latitude to act.

Tim

I agree with you, Jade, that Xu could be setting Mike up... but if he is, he's gonna fail miserably. Afterall, he's gonna be shot in the chest in another 24 hours or so and whatever suspicions or paranoia Xu has is not gonna change that.

Maggie Heels

WooooooooW The sponsors of today's episode were "multiple orgasms" hehehe ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Joe

Damn female mason is hot as hell

Crewchick

Wow Tim all great catches and observations! Makes me anxious for the next episode already.

TheVampire

Xu is shot in the abdomen, I tend to wonder he may be able to retreat to another secret boat or island, get patched up and from their xu can plot and take back control. Until I see xu lifeless I'm going to assume he still has tricks up his sleave. Even wounded

Jade Diaz

Never believe anyone is dead unless you see the body on camera. That's what I've learned from multiple comic books and Marvel movies. ;)

Tim

Hahaha... I agree once again, Jade, especially with a well-rested Dr. Hatcher poised to perform surgery on someone (and Dr. Dawson no doubt waiting in the wings).

Ryan

I had a flashback about the multiple orgasms. Phase 6, part 3.

Ryan

I have been following this story for a long time, since the beginning. I am totally into it. This is one of the first stories that I really started following besides Aphrodite's Mirror by Melissa. Jill has really become a beautiful woman, personally my feeling is that something is still missing. A full functional vagina perhaps?

Emily

Jill seems pretty confident that she will win.

Sky

Watching Jill seduce nude is HOT. Deep inside Jill is Jack and Jill . Jill knows how sexually beautiful she is and Jack lusts other beautiful bodies. I do believe Jill and Jack is ready for a vagina with ovaries and Jill can have a erection penetration or be penetrated deep inside her body feeling pleasure orgasms both ejaculations out clitoris penis or squirting orgasms out vagina. Jack is Jill and Jill is Jack the 2 blend into 1 brain with no inhibitions. Jill is totally in love with her body now and Jack agrees with passionate desires for sex. Now Jill knows how to bring pleasure to another womans breasts nipples vagina . She has learned skills feeling her own nipples harden and milk release out squirting from enlarged pumped full glands in breasts. As Jills tongue gives another penis erection she remembers how Jacks hard erection felt growing long thick wanting to pump inside a vagina wet with lubrication squirt. Loved seeing Jill nude with another nude body. Seeing their breasts melt pressing together and Jills full lips softly kissing her body parts.

Ryan

I think your way of writing is really cool. Are you perhaps a story writer yourself?

Sky

Like this story from early days-years ago. Watching these characters change grow is fun fantasy. Not a Writer yet Ryan but working on it. Can you imagine being Jill? Here readers get to be close and hear their thoughts.

SingularCurve

Xu worring about the right things. That is the kind of villian I like. Not just another meglomaniac. Jill and Ryan cultivating more femme power. Yes it is a race but it is a slow and steady race. It will win in the end.

Kris Greg

IT'S BUILDING! The climax is almost here, but you're going to drag it out for a few more months, aren't you? I both love and hate the suspense! :-)

LikeGender

and a work of art, it's a shame that the episodes take so long to come out

Tim

I know what you mean, Pedro, but most works of art take a considerable amount of time to create. I think we all know that Emory is a perfectionist, intent on getting everything she publishes "just right." The level of detail in her artwork and the intricacies and depth of her storytelling are the products of not just a talented and fertile mind, but also a lot of painstakingly meticulous hard work, as well. And she's pretty damned prolific at doing what she does. For example, during the past 30 days she's produced over 130 unique pages of art and prose in three episodes of Jack & Jill, two episodes of Pleasure Drones, one episode of Half Sisters, and ten pieces of pinup art. I know you're not complaining, but short of cloning the dear girl, I'm afraid we'll all have to bear the wait we have to endure between episodes.

Tim

P.S. This was not intended to be—but on reflection might be interpreted as—an advertisement for Emory's new $10 tier.

edose

Like the episode as always, my only question is: I was rooting for Mason and Jill together (as in this way, there is no “male” role that Jill can end up with. I know Emory pays attention to realism in her stories, so I don’t believe another lead male role will appears in the remaining part of this Saga and Jill can sort of fall in love with him.

Emory Ahlberg

I love reading all of your thoughts and theory!

Emory Ahlberg

That is true, Tiki! Do you think that Jack would have the necessary 'psychology' to be a handler?

Tiki D

Xu can train him.

Emory Ahlberg

Thanks so much, Gemma! You're spot on about Dr. Mason's reaction. Imagine being a man so defined by his physical strength, his masculinity in the most traditional sense, and then being confronted with a vision of yourself utterly changed - and by his own HRT, too. And yes, you're absolutely right, this episode is very much about positioning the pieces. We’ve seen the players, understood their motivations, and now the board is set for what comes next...

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Jade! You might be spot on about Morosini. It’s (almost) never just about altruism. Especially when you’re talking about someone with that kind of power and resources. As for Josie… “Cooked.” Yeah. You’re not wrong to worry. I mean, it's Josie, though, right? She's always been playing with fire, ever since she decided to help Emily. And now she's walking right back into the inferno, knowing exactly what's waiting for her. Win or lose the competition, her real victory might just be getting any information out at all.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Maggie! 😂 And great callback, Ryan.

Emory Ahlberg

Aw, it's really cool to hear you've been reading Jack & Jill from the start. That means a lot, Ryan! Do you think she wants that, at this point?

Emory Ahlberg

Maybe she is, Emily - or maybe she's just pretending to be confident to comfort Ryan. What do you think?

Emory Ahlberg

Thanks, Singular! Yeah, I didn't want Xu to be a mustache-twirling caricature. His power derives from a rational and almost scientific detachment. He sees people as resources, as variables in a grand experiment, which I think is more unsettling than simple megalomania. Of course you're right about Jill and Ryan. Ryan is slowly discovering a resilience and emotional intelligence that society often overlooks or devalues. He's beginning to realize he can find inner strength from finding agency within a system designed to strip him of it.

SingularCurve

What Tim is saying, is one of the reasons I love having Emory disclose her publishing schedule at the beginning of the month it gives me an estimate to the release date. Sometimes that comes late, but is well worth the time because the work from Emory is amazing.

Kirsten Roberts

Can’t wait to see what happens to Mason and will Jill be part of it.

SYJIS

I like a reminder of the characters per episode, not all of them, but those that we see less often. Thank you Emory for your absolutely brilliant creations, and yes, Jill with a vagina seems like a good outcome to me.

Robertlouis

Interesting episode and one with a complete contrast, as Xu reverts to his coldly calculating worst, abandoning any pretence towards his shaky morality, followed by a sweetly romantic interlude in which Jill continues with her quest to rescue lost souls, Ryan in this case. Some beautiful art yet again, Emory.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Robert! Xu's morality is definitely a tool, shifting to serve his vision. The mask slips when plans go awry, revealing pure calculation. He sees people as assets first. The Jill/Ryan scene shows their shared trauma and vulnerability. It's less about simple romance and more about Jill finding agency through empathy, helping Ryan navigate the terror she understands intimately. Second Dawn thought Ryan was a lost cause. Jill doesn't believe in the Kobyashi Maru scenario. 😉

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Kirsten. Mason is putting on a brave face, but he's wondering what will happen to him too!

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, edose! Sorry I took so long to reply! Yeah, the dynamic between Jill and Mason is definitely complex. Mason started as an instrument of Jill's captivity, the handler overseeing her transition. His developing feelings for her were a genuine complication, something that ultimately led Xu to remove him from that role and set him on his current path. But that was over two years ago now in story's timeline. Mason's desires for Jill obviously haven't changed. But Jill doesn't know much of what happened to him after he was forced to leave the island. Plus, there's the undeniable trauma associated with him. Can she ever forgive him for his role in that?

Emory Ahlberg

Hehe - I'm so glad you're enjoying the story, Kris! I'd say it's about the ride as much as the destination. 😉

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you so much, Singular. I really do try my best to get everything done on time. Sadly, that doesn't always happen since I also have to juggle 'real life' with my schedule - even if I'd much rather be making comics for you all!
