"Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth." — Oscar Wilde

Homecoming is back! It's the premiere episode of Season 3, and Detective Harris finally begins to see the horrifying truth behind his best friend's disappearance...

In the attachments below, I also compiled Season 1 and Season 2 into one big 600-page PDF for those who need to catch up or would like a refresher. 😊

I hadn’t realised how strong the romantic loving bond was between Kris and Alan. It certainly ultimately shifts future outcomes for many of us the direction of whatever Kris’s happy ever after will be! As usual, some great and tastefully created beautiful and very sexy love scenes and images of Kris and Alan

Connor Power

Got an notification this was out. Immediately read it. Love it. Love this story and these characters

Alyson Greaves

me, observing the complex shifts of identity, power and plot: YEAH GET IT KRIS

Erica Rost

Kris is becoming more and more charming as the story progresses!

Kris Greg

I'm sad to say that I'd forgotten about this story. It's really good, & I enjoyed this chapter a lot. We got to see inside our protagonist's thoughts, & how they are coming to accept real love.

Maggie Heels

WOOOW that is a 🔥update... and thanks for #high.heels.stay.on 😘

Stormfries

Hmm, cool, the combination is also great because it saves space and provides a clear overview. The story is also easy to understand.

Alison St John

This is such an excellent story 🩷🩷🩷

Tiki D

I have a bad feeling that Detective Harris is going to get capture later in the story.

Tiki D

As Alan and Kris are having sex, Is that Chris in the mirror looking shocked to see them having sex? These two love is genuine.

Kirsten Roberts

I love all your stories but something about this one makes it my favorite of all. I cannot wait until the next episode

Tim

Good catch, Tiki.

Jade Diaz

Detective Ben is a class 1 dick. Kris isn’t in love from trauma!

Tim

I'm sure we all crave more from each episode, Nolwenn, but I think the length of this episode is perfect. I'd compare it to the first course of a multi-course meal served at a fine restaurant. I could dine on the appetizer all night, but I can't wait to taste the entree, and I definitely want to leave room in my belly for what promises to be an amazing desert to cap off the meal. I look upon Emory's site as I would a Michelin star restaurant; definitely not an all-you-can-eat Golden Corral.

Tim

I'm also curious about how much time it took Emory to create this episode, from planning and drafting the storyline to perfecting all 22 panels. I hope Emory won't mind my asking. And while I'm on the topic, I'm even more curious about the amount of time it took to create the amazing Season 3 teaser video; I can't imagine how Emory does it, especially while holding down a regular (9-5, or whatever) job.

Tim

I totally understand and agree with you, Nolwenn, but isn't it fun to imagine over the next week or two what will happen next after that last image—visualizing the sheer bliss Kris experiences as Al goes a little harder and... deeper.

2026-09-14 23:00 Emory you could totally make a new serie with Benjie and Connie. We will call it "Lil'loose and Snitch" two future feminized macho detective who lead the investigation ( i don't know yet what kind off investigation)😁

Tim

Could he wind up being Kris's replacement?... perhaps with Cindy pulling the trigger on the tranquilizer gun she was brandishing in the teaser video? After her encounter with Ben at Murph's bar, there's definitely no love lost between the two.

Gemma

Wow! I too didn’t see that figure of a man in the mirror. This story is so psychologically deep, oblique and keeps everyone guessing.

Cerial442

I just want to also comment on how great that title page graphic looks

Strangest

So, since she's no public person, is it legal in the USA to take pictures of them without their consent? If not, and he's a cop, why is he okay with this. I understand that he may be confused, but still, doing nothing against it...

Emory Ahlberg

Thanks, Gemma! I'm glad you picked up on that deep connection between Kris and Alan. I think Alan gives Kris something unique: a space where she can just BE Kris, without all the heavy baggage Chris has with Kayla. It’s a different kind of love, a different path to something like happiness, and it definitely throws a wrench in what anyone might expect for her "happily ever after." Thanks for noticing the effort to make their intimate moments feel sweet and sexy all at once. 😊

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Connor! Me too. Can't wait for your to see more of what I have planned. 😊

Emory Ahlberg

Thanks, Erica! She really is coming into her own... Although I miss her long hair we briefly saw at the end of Season 2. It's hard to forgive Chris for shaving it all off 😉

Emory Ahlberg

Thanks, Kris (😊)! I love rediscovering a story as a reader. I'm glad you enjoyed getting inside Kris's head. For me, it's super important to show what's going on in there because her finding love with Alan is such a huge part of her figuring out who she is. It's because Alan truly sees her, Kris, and loves her for it... and this is especially important after all the hell she went through. That kind of acceptance, her realizing she can have that as a woman, is a big part of her journey. Of course, the natural question then is... What about Chris and Kayla?

Emory Ahlberg

💕 Thank you, Maggie! I'm a sucker for that look during sexy time hehe

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Storm! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. 😊

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Alison! I'm very happy to be back to it, too.

Emory Ahlberg

Nolwenn, I hear you on wanting more Kris! And Tim, your analogy of a multi-course meal is really elegant. For me, sometimes an episode is about letting a really specific feeling sink in. That scene with Kris and Alan – I really wanted that feeling to hang in the air a bit before whatever comes next. Tim, that you for your curiosity about the creative process. Crafting these episodes, and especially something like the Season 3 video teaser, is a lot. Each panel, each line of dialogue, is turned over and polished until it feels right for me. Lots of hours lol - but I love it, especially when you all get a chance to enjoy it! 💕

Emory Ahlberg

He is certainly straying into dangerous waters... especially if Alan is able to identify the "cunt"

Emory Ahlberg

I'm so glad, Kirsten! I also poured a lot into Homecoming. I think it's the messy exploration of who we are when everything is stripped away that gives it that special something. For me, watching Kris emerge not just as a way for Chris to cope, but as a whole new person with her own strength and desires, has been really fun.

Emory Ahlberg

Oh, Benji. Yeah, he definitely put his foot in it, big time. It’s tough because, from my perspective, a lot of what he says comes from this almost panicked place of seeing his best friend, the Chris he grew up with, just… different. It's like his brain short-circuits and tries to slap a label on Kris's feelings for Alan, something easy like "trauma response," because that's less scary than admitting his friend has fundamentally changed

Emory Ahlberg

🤣 Good suggestion, Nolwenn... I'd make them ghost hunters

Emory Ahlberg

Thanks so much - I also love it. I feel like it gives off the whole 'vibe' of the comic.

Emory Ahlberg

Well, the private investigator was hired by Ben to follow Kris. So, he's definitely expecting photos as proof of what is happening...but he never expected THIS

Holly B.

I just retread ALL of Homecoming…this series is so good. And this chapter is PEAK! 💖

Crewchick

There are several legal theories for why those photos are not a violation of Kris' right to privacy. If the observed activity was within the suspect's curtilage (the area immediately surrounding the home), the justification for not needing a warrant is often framed under the Plain View Doctrine or Open Fields Doctrine. Both doctrine basically state that no warrant is needed if the activity being observed is occurring within "plain view" even if that view may require binoculars or a telephoto lens. As long as the government (police) are not breaching your curtilage to make these observation then no warrant is needed. The basic lesson here is "close the damn blinds" before doing anything illegal or that you don't know anyone else to know about. And for the love of God, don't be doing any of it in your backyard or any other open space that could be within open view of others even from tall buildings or low slow moving aircraft.

Crewchick

Another relevant legal doctrine is the "Silver Platter Doctrine". This one has had some back and forth lately, but the gist of it is, that the government can't use evidence it illegally obtained (this is the "fruit of the poisonous tree doctrine). That doctrine applies to police and any other government actor like paid informants, etc... However if a non-government actor illegally obtains certain evidence without police knowledge and involvement, and subsequently presents that evidence to the police, they can in most cases use that evidence, since it was not the government that violated the subject's rights. Essentially that once illegal evidence has been washed clean and presented to the police on a silver platter to use. Since these photos were taken most likely by a private investigator (PI) not working directly fort he police if the evidence reveals any crimes being committed their would be no obstacle for the police to use that evidence. The one possible complication would be if hired the PI. While Ben may have hired him in his private capacity as Chris' friend, a judge could find that explanation too convoluted and rule any prosecution coming as a result of that evidence is illegal.

Crewchick

But if no prosecution comes out of this then most of these doctrine are irrelevant. Kris can try and sue in civil court for a violation of privacy, but she will need to prove such a right, existed, that it was clearly breached by the PI and that some kind of damage was suffered for which Kris needs to be made whole. This will be very hard if the PI did not break any enterings to obtain the photos and they were only viewed by the PI and Ben.

SingularCurve

Kris finally gets to go home, instead of being trapped by her past. I hope she gets her happy ending eventually.

Robertlouis

First of all, I can’t say just how thrilled I am that Homecoming is finally back with us after such a long hiatus. And the first episode certainly didn’t disappoint. I made sure to go back over the teaser/trailer and the last few chapters of Season Two, and while for the most part Chris is gone, he’s still in the background as a quiet but insistent conscience. He’s also the grieving part of her/his complex and contradictory personality. However, the one thing that is pure and true and that she can cling to in the chaos is her love for Alan. It keeps her sane. The Cunt relaying the feed from Hasan’s phone to Ben after his encounter with Chris, as he saw it, must have him questioning everything he previously believed. Stand by for revelations, confrontations, tears…. Oh, and Cindy with her stun gun. Fabulous return Emory. And the cinematic feel and quality of the artwork continues seamlessly from the teaser. Brilliant.

Amber Caledonia

*gasp* I've got to feel for Kayla, getting her hopes up and then dashed continuously, but Alan and Kris seem really good for each other ...is it a 'love triangle' if you don't feel like the same person with the two people or is it some advanced planar geometry stuff And of course the deeper conspiracy continues and I'm all about that

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Amber. 💕 It's so true about Kayla. She's trying to find the Chris she loved in Kris, while Kris is on her own path - and the 'original' Chris seems further away than ever... And yes, the deeper conspiracy is definitely something I love to weave in!

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Robert! I really do see Chris as that quiet, wounded part of her, the echo of everything that was taken. For Kris, Alan is such an anchor. It’s with him that she feels truly seen and accepted, a space where she can just be. And yep! Camila dropping those photos on Harris was definitely me wanting to pull the rug out from under him just when he thought he had things figured out. Thanks for mentioning the art... I always want the story to look and feel as cinematic as possible. 😊

Emory Ahlberg

Thanks, Singular. 💕 Yeah... for Kris that moment with Alan truly is coming home. Alan just gets her - even if he can't understand everything about what brought this gorgeous woman into his life...

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Holly! 💕 Oh, that's fantastic to hear. In this episode I really wanted to show Kris finding that safe harbor with Alan, you know. A place where she could just breathe and be herself, especially with all the madness swirling around her and how even people like Det. Harris just don't get it. She'll need her rest for what is to come!

stacy C

A welcome return....I' sure Alan agrees with me :-) x

Winter Naomi Vera .

It's not much different from how Chris is trying to justify Kris's feelings for Alan. "He" doesn't want to admit that Kris is her true self. She secretly feels that she's betraying the illusion of "Chris's" masculinity, so "he" copes by pretending that Kris is an alternate persona "he" created to survive, & that Kris's feelings for Alan were part of the illusion. She's not ready to accept that she has always been female neurologically, & as the woman she truly is, her feelings for Alan are genuine.

Jade Diaz

I think it’s a real stretch to think that Chris was some kind of egg. Kris exists **in spite** of Bella, the sexual trauma, the forced feminization. That Kris has found a way to actualize herself while the rest of Bella’s unfortunates have not is extraordinary, and Bella says as much when she allows Kris to leave ahead of their normal protocol.
