👻 Spooky season is here! That means it's time for you to choose scary-sexy costumes for our annual Halloween party!

Who's attending this year?

Our VIPs are back: Jill, Kris, Sandy, and Nikki! Plus special guests: Angela from Jack & Jill, Cindy from Homecoming, and Abigail from Taylor Made.

(Taylor's costume will be chosen by Taylor and revealed in next month's final chapter! But the Abigail costume will be 'canon' what Taylor chooses for her. 👀)

So many fun options, but i have to consider who they should be paired with. Nikki as a cheerleader is a little on the nose, after all, but Hutchinson might encourage it. Beauty Queen would let her emulate her Mom, though...hmmm. I need to think.

I chose some different type ‘traditional gender diverse costumes’ (firefighter, lumberjack). Sometimes seeing a pretty girl wearing a more masculine role outfit can be very sexy. A bit like seeing a pretty girl swallowed up when she is obviously wearing her boyfriend’s over sized shirt.

Exactly. Tge word I was looking for was the ‘incongruousness’ - ‘a pretty girl, who is obviously wearing ill fitting masculine clothes seems to make more obvious and highlight further their feminine form.’

I was just thinking last Homecoming that it's been a while since we've seen Cindy! Seasonal pinups are always a fun way to see the non-main characters in between their story screentime. As for my personal choices... Jill: Burlesque Dancer, though she'd really rock most of these Kris: Mermaid. I'm weak to the parallels, and flashback Kristine absolutely has the hair for it. Sandy : Succubus OR Horror Hostess. She's got the figure and the attitude, and can rock dark hair again temporarily if needed for the look! Nikki: Ghost Bride. I think she'd reluctantly accept the hyper feminine vibes if she gets to be spooky and creepy at the same time, lol. Plus, she could match with Succubus Sandy. Angela: Femme Fatale seems like it'd really suit her! Cindy: Pin-Up Nurse. She'd hate it, but the vibes would be immaculate! Abigail: Beauty Queen because she deserves it and for the sake of something different on the list. But I'd love to see her having fun dressing up as any one of these. (Honorary Personal Mention for Ryan as a sexy firefighter. Imagining her trying to avoid the most overtly femme or revealing options, but finding out very quickly what options women tend to have with even the simplest costumes...)

I'm also looking forward to including her on some of the short stories coming up. I think there's a lot to explore with her character... and with Ryan as well! Thank you for mentioning her. Emory, I loved all these choices and can't wait to see who shows up to the party in what costume. I also thought some of the comments that mentioned choices for who they want to see in which costumes were very thoughtful and detailed. I especially loved the reason give by one for seeing Nikki as a ghost bride. I do have to say my choice for Nikki was not offered. I would have loved to have seen Nikki as a super hero. Marvel or DC there are too many Nikki could rock. My personal favorites are Bat Woman (recent TV series costume all black, red hair) or Bat Girl (Barbra Gordon 1960's TV version), Super Girl, Wonder Woman, Power Girl, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, or a female version of Spider-man. My reasoning is that I think deep down Nikki is a superhero. Nicky's idol was Tarzan. He fought for his friends expecting nothing in return, because it was the right thing to do. Nikki is very physical and athletic, as are all the super heroes. And most of their costumes are pretty tight and leave little to the imagination (did I say that out loud? 😂 ) Nikki is only doing the girl thing because she thinks it is something she has to do to protect her Dad and Mom until Hutchinson gives up and finds some other victim to torment. But she is starting to realize some, if not most, of these changes are not going away and she may need to learn and adapt a little. I am thinking back to the right before the date when she went up to her room. She looked at her trophy case and lamented about not being able to play football because of her changes. But then says she can't basically feel sorry for herself and needs to find some other sports outlet. She even ponders field hockey. I think being a super hero would be a way for Nikki to show off a part of herself Nick lost touch with. And allow her to feel empowered in her new form and show off the muscles she does have, that may not be suited for football but are powerful in many other ways.
