Sad news, patrons. My motherboard/CPU died last night. Fairly new system, too! I spent all day today trying to fix it, but to no avail. The system will have to be replaced. 

Captions will continue since I can make those on my laptop, and I hope to be up and rendering again in two weeks.

Ugh.

Will you be able to transfer software licenses to the new system? It's usually tied to the specific motherboard/cpu.

It’s looking like I’ll need to buy a new PC. But the biggest expense was my graphic cards (they do the rendering) and they’re ok, as far as I can tell. Still, the motherboard / CPU combo I need to run three GPU’s will run about $2k. Ah well.

If it's faily new take a good look at the component warranties. Plus, if you bought it on a credit card there's a chance one of the card benefits doubles the warranty.

Thanks, Helicoder. I do have a warranty on the component, but frankly dealing with the warranty will take a couple months. I don't want my patrons to wait that long!
