I'm in the mood for a historical caption. Exploring gender throughout the ages is both fun and educational. And sexy. 😉

But where should we take our time machine? Or to be more precise, when?

I don't think the Victorian age is explored enough in TG Fiction, especially the restrictive clothing that even the women of the time had to endure, never mind the men who wanted to wear such items 😘

2026-10-04 02:00 Agreed. There are plenty of '50s TG stories & lots of Medieval fantasy, but I don't recall any Victorian era TG stories. The closest I can think of, is "Ladyship" & that's not exactly Victorian era

From what I gather the reason why is what's available to use is very minimal on the likes of Daz, so I think it's something that needs to be highlighted to those that design sets, scenes and attire 😊

Also you're correct, Ladyship by Keshara was very enjoyable, loved the transformation and the storyline 💕

Something is telling me that sooner or later Emory will bring to life all three options and we're choosing the order only here :)

Yes, in general it’s very hard to find assets for that era. Which is a shame because the gowns are gorgeous!

It’s not a complaint, more an observation, but why is there such an apparent obsession in tg fiction with the 1950s? Is it the fashions or the period itself with its restrictions on women and the seeming invisibility of people of colour and the great taboo on gay and lesbian folks, let alone transgender people.

Emory Ahlberg

Is there an obsession? I feel like I don't see a lot of fiction set in any time period besides the present. I'd love to see more, honestly. 😊
