Nikki tries to get some well-earned sleep... too bad her mind has other ideas.

Okay! Episode 35 has 21 new panels! And we get to see some familiar faces. I had a lot of fun with this one, although some of the images were a bit of a challenge.

Because this episode is a bit dark, I created some "candid" bonus pinups of Nikki at the end. I think she's really cute in them! I like to think of the pinups as photos of the actress playing Nikki, if that makes sense. That's why she's smiling sometimes and not all grumpy. 😉

Holly even as a demon/succubus looks so beautiful, that's how I imagined her, as for Davis whether demon or human it makes no difference judging by his behavior. Brilliantly written, this game of evil - "good" demon is making Nikki should wake up screaming after such a nightmare. The bad guy is, of course, Davis.

Also, I love how her biggest threat is more "walking in heels" lessons. 😊 What's fun (to me) is that her appraisal of Nick is actually Nikki's subconscious - so maybe our girl isn't as dense as we think. 😉 And YES, I loved how pretty Zach is... I really wanted to show this flashback so we can see where these two are coming from. Zach's build is naturally androgynous and damn sexy.

Wow Emory! Powerful episode. Thanks for the heads up regarding darkness of this episode. Love seeing the contrast and enormity of the physical (and psychological) changes in the ‘real life’ interaction images of Nick before she becomes Nikki. Also seeing Zach before he too is transformed into more macho looking version of himself. Thanks also for closing images. Your new images of Nikki are amazing. She is looking more and more cute and girly in these new images you have created. I too wonder (and hope) Nikki becomes fully female. I am sure Zach, who seems to be drawn to Nick/ Nikki beyond physical attraction would soon adapt to Nikki’s changed in their relationship moving forward.

wow! just wow! all the caveats i love! demons and nick being knocked down a peg because of being such a shitty person. I can’t wait to see how nikki reacts to the dream tho!! seeing jill involved too almost makes me want to shout at nikki tho! i can’t tell if she feels bad for getting jill into such a shitty situation and taking the punishment or if she thinks of jill as one of her punishers. Jill was going through it too ya big dummy nikki! Also, the pinups are crazy emory. i think it’s literally to the point where i can’t tell they’re something you made. it kinda looks like how ai generated images wish they could. perfect lighting perfect face perfect everything! i don’t know how you do it but girl you literally crush my expectations every time!!

If Nick’s attitude to Zach in the dream is a realistic indicator of his past behaviour, then he was a sexist macho pig who deserved at least some but not all of what has happened to him, if you believe in poetic justice. That Zach doesn’t take every opportunity to kick his ass does him by contrast great credit. I’m assuming that Nikki’s dream images of Davis, Holly and Jill respectively reflect the roles that she sees them as having played in her transition, with Jill her angel. I also presume that Nikki’s preference for short hair is another part of her refusal to give up on a return to full masculine status: she’d look great with long hair though. As always, Emory, the art is breathtakingly good, but it’s your ability to develop twists and turns in your plots that never ceases to amaze me. And there’s never a hole or an inconsistency. You’re not only an outstanding artist but a very skilled author as well. Cap duly doffed. xxx

A bit late but still happy to comment what I just saw... I hope nightmares Nikki is experiencing will speed up her journey... and Jill's grin at page 22 killed me... OMFG so hilarious... and 23-25 are like transition goals that anybody never would be able to reach I think... those are like definition of upmost beauty... (Jill or Nikki... hmmm idk... 50/50 I guess, missing third color of hair to balance the equation maybe :} ) Hmmm where are my tissues... 😁❣️❣️❣️

I love a good flashback. 😈 Your observations about the dream roles - you hit the nail right on the head! Each character in Nikki's dreamworld represents something or someone from her reality, shaping her current journey. Dream Holly is also part of Nikki's subconscious and seems to be telling her some deep stuff about why she "really" made fun of Zach. The compliments about the writing really mean a lot! Alright, I have a LOT of thought here. 1-Why would the coach change the kicker before the Championship game? The other kicker must have really sucked. 2-I thought Zach was the backup QB, when did the kicker stuff start? ( I suppose it was a dream which can explain that). 3-Nick is absolutely ripped!! I love the comparison to Nikki. Although I imagine it was emphasized for the dream. Because dream Nikki is built like a shit brickhouse and real life Nikki is more slender. That all leads up to me just saying this is another example of what I love about you. Your dream world was realistically dreamy. Subtle differences from real life that don't make sense. But that is because it was a dream! Well done!
