It may just be my story preference showing through (I'm an unabashed fan of Homecoming), but comparing Jill to Kris, while Jill looks nice and is a bit more curvy, Kris looks more confident. Jill looks .... don't want to say 'bimboish', but she looks less like she's forging her own path, and more "whatever". Probably stages of their mental development in the stories, though. Emory is very good at making the visual content match the character's mindset. Same with Nikki. Not to say Jill is unattractive - she is definitely a looker, and this pictures reflects that.

My comment/observation was made while I kept in mind some of Xu's most profound words as to why he is doing this to these men and also what he is doing to achieve his goal of transforming them into women. He stated that only by completely eradicating any trace of masculinity in these former men can he create something perfectly feminine. To me, that means psychological alterations are just as integral to the process as the physical changes.

That’s a really interesting point, Elrod. Jill’s body is of course the result of her genes, but you’re right that she hasn’t yet had a real chance to forge her own destiny. Hopefully that will be changing with Phase 9 in 2024… 😊

I agree with all of you…and I love reading your commentaries! Yeah, Jack & Jill is definitely supposed to be a psychological thriller as much as anything else. These pinups give me (and the characters) a chance to “play.” But I always try to keep them true to the characters, as well! 😊
