In relation to Ben’s friend, I would expect Kris’s fiancée what she sees would I expect open the way for a deeper conversation and fuller disclosure by Kris. Love your insights Emory into the complexity of the human psyche that you explore through Victor so sensitively and respectfully in this chapter.

Emory, that last panel is chef's kiss, frs, frs. The camera detail, letting the viewer see what the long lens captured... it makes me feel like you're showing us this image because the image on the camera will be manipulated and presented as truth in the future. (Also conveniently, Kris has her back to the lens, so she _could_ deny deny deny it was her.) 🤔🤔

What Kris says in the 3rd render encapsulates absolutely everything, EVERYTHING, about Kris and her despairing dilemma. It’s exquisitely worded, Emory, a brilliant piece of writing by any standard. And what I noticed about the art this time was how inscrutable and unknowable Kris’ expression was throughout. Whether that matched her internal emotions is impossible to say. Great twist with Victor’s character too. When we first met him it seemed amazing that he would turn out as he did - and therefore, in one sense at least, if not morally, very well-suited to what Bella has waiting for him. Or not. Her twisted mind seems to prefer unwilling and defiant subjects. Complicated, isn’t it? 😉

Ok, ok, ok, so here's how it goes from now on.... (I mean I'd like to see it this way, but if Emory has another way, of course I'll appreciate her way too). Kayla can't see the pictures... explaining this will be as difficult as defending OJ Simpson... Something tells me that the guy who is with Kris is actually a nice guy and of course Kris is being watched by Bella's people, even our little pervert with his camera... and I think our cameraman will end up in a retrofit institution, not our "please, fuck me hard, my goddess, I beg you" guy.... ❣️❣️❣️

Oh Emory, I forgot to comment on your art work which is so beautiful and at such an incredible level. The images of Kris's breasts, particularly the close ups (12,13 and 14) are so real life and amazing.

I have a hard time imagining the morality of _this_ story is going to be so straightforward. But simply for calling Kris “it”, the photographer needs to be smote by karma. Very hard.

The most interesting thing is "camera guy". That film will get to Ben - now Ben and/or Kayla might have a conversation with Chris/Kris demanding an explanation. It would be poetic justice for the Cunt to be watching the guy following Kris, and give HIM the knockout. And 'submissive guy' doesn't get a remodel because Bella and the Cunt have 'camera guy' as a victim. Lots of possibilities, including potentially tying up a couple of loose threads, while adding potential complications to Ben's and Kayla's lives, and Kris and Kayla's relationship. Well done, Emory - as always.

Pages #7, #8, #9 and #14...spectacular. I always praise your graphic excellence, however the dialogue and story pacing in this issue stole the show! Page #4...between that sincerely pitiful, pleading look in his eyes and the dialogue, I think that it may be the most powerful example of your complete mastery of this art-form to date. Sublime.

Aw, thank you so much, Jade!!! Yeah, my goal is always to make my comics feels as cinematic as possible. I really want readers to be drawn in, like they're watching their favorite (binge-worthy) show. Kris COULD deny... but that backside is pretty distinctive, and on the high-resolution version you can make out her tattoo. 😉

WOW - thank you so much, Robert! And you're exactly right. I return to that old quote often when I'm working on this comic: "You can't go home again" because the person Chris became while under Bella's control is fundamentally different than who he was. How can you go back to your life after all that? Should you even try? I like Victor a lot... Do you think Kris should go through with her plan?

Yeah, the private investigator hired by Ben is a transphobic P.O.S. -- he called Chris "it" in Season 1, also. Will he end up captured? We'll see... But I think it's important to say we're not dealing with Second Dawn or Mr. Xu here. "The Cunt" is a cop and Bella... well, we'll find out. But they're not billionaires. They can't be everywhere and don't have virtually unlimited resources!

No worries at all, Elrod! I hope your knee gets better soon. As always, you've raised some VERY interesting points. Yeah, the dynamic between Chris / Kris and Kayla is already complex. Adding Ben into the mix with this new information will REALLY shake things up. If the private investigator gets to Detective Ben, he'll have two pieces of info: That his buddy Chris isn't being faithful to Kayla... and that his colleague Camila (aka "the Cunt") secretly met with Chris for an unknown purpose... 🤔
