TN: 141 A.G. COOK - NEW EPISODE! (Patreon)

For our latest episode, John is joined by hyperpop pioneer, P.C. Music founder and production legend Alex (A.G.) Cook to talk about how he wrote, recorded and produced his new album "Britpop".

"Britpop" is the third solo album from Alex, an epic 24-song exploration. In addition, he has produced numerous pop icons including Jonsi, Madonna, Caroline Polachek and Charli XCX. Alex talks John through developing a harmonic style, meticulous automation and what it means to be an aggressive listener. He also breaks down three tracks from the album: "Heartache", "Serenade" and "Lucifer".
