FROM THE ARCHIVE | TN: 93 THE CHAINSMOKERS - FULL VIDEO EDIT - PREVIEW 3 (Patreon)

We've just dropped the full video edit of our episode with The Chainsmokers from May 2022! More than a few of you have been chasing us for this - we hope you enjoy it! Here's another preview!

In this episode, John sits down with Alex and Drew, aka The Chainsmokers, to talk about the writing, recording and production of their album "So Far, So Good".

Alex and Drew give us a glimpse into their Hawaii writing sessions and drunken nights in the studio, sharing the initial sparks and early ideas (good and not so good!) that developed into the final tracks.

Watch to find out how to get away with recycling beats from different songs, why sometimes it pays to be the least organised producer in the game, and what the best question to ask yourself is in order to handle almost any situation!

Tracks discussed: If You're Serious, iPad, I Love U
