Your songs always feel layered and full of unexpected turns which is part of what makes them so engaging. I'm curious about your creative process: when you're writing, are you usually pulling together ideas from different 'voice memos' or sketches, or do you tend to start from one spark and follow it down a path, discovering things as you go? Also, if there's time... What do you usually start writing with? Guitar? Synth? Vocal melody? Thanks! Big fan of your music and acting! -nate

Hey Djo! me and my sister are big fans from Indonesia. We’ve noticed that your vocals sound different and unique on almost every song on the album. For example, the vocals on Potion have a different vibe compared to how they sound in Basic Being Basic. We were wondering if that variation mostly came from how the vocals are mixed or how you perform them when recording? We think it adds so much to the album and really shows how versatile you are as an artist. Thank you for making amazing music! - Ilyasa and Mary

Hello Mr.Keery! You have a very unique brand image and artist sound. How did you develop your sound and whats a tip you'd give to artists looking for their "sound". Thank you for your time - Bryce

How much if any did you learn or lean into the help of Kyle Dixon and Micheal Stein when developing your sounds (the synth duo behind ST's score)?

Hello! I know you used the voices of many friends and family throughout the album. How was it collaborating with family? Also I'd love a breakdown of Charlie's Garden and the Sgt Pepper inspiration that comes through.

Ben McNamara

what’s the collaboration process between you and adam look like? how do you guys decide on production styles or techniques to use?

Djo!! I hear a wide range of influences in your music and in this latest project. So, my question is, how do you incorporate those influences into your work without it sounding too alike to whatever you’re referencing? How do you maintain originality in the spirit of inspiration? Thanks so much for both your work! Can’t wait to see the episode.

Not a question but would love to see the breakdown of Potion and the story behind it

Hey what’s going on Joe. I was wondering do you prefer working analog, in the box, or hybrid? Do any production techniques differ when you’re doing your solo projects and with Post Animal? Do you record those synths/instruments DI, and or what pieces of gear/mics do you gravitate towards when producing? The vocals and acoustic guitars are really clean, how do you get the vocal to sit right in your face like that? Thanks man, great album!

Hi Djo! Really enjoyed your Coachella sets (on stream)! Feel like your songs are quite varied (some more electronic, more stripped, more rock, experimental) yet they all have this classic sonic cohesion... So my question how do you think you achieved that? Is it on purpose/part of the goal or just a result/byproduct of your process? ✌️

Hi Djo! Big fan from Puerto Rico. What pedal (or pedals/plugins) did you use for the fuzzy, synthy guitar solo on Half Life? - Yamil
