Could you talk a little bit about your internship at Complex (what you got to work on, how it might have shaped you as an artist)? As always, thanks for the great content John!

Eduardo

familiar is my fave track of the album, how was the process and also how involved is loukeman in the project?

LUCA KOALA

1). pls make acapellas available for remixes like the gecs did. 4/4 aminé is a goldmine. 2) paris, como, etc are no longer where it's at. come to switzerland, hang out w goats, feel alive again. proper yellow. much love!

Dulus

1) Vocal Production, depth, weird FX 2) Overall Production, same as the above - depth, fx on synths, etc! Synth stuff on familiar is amazing

Thomas Milton

When it comes to sampling in a song, what methods do you use to dig/discover samples?

Stormy Brumfield

Sick, Aminé! I just watched your interview with Our Generation Music, it was really chill; since you’ve been in the game for a while, how do you feel about the current generation of coming artists that are inspired by our generation. I was wondering if you could identify, not necessarily any new artists themselves although you could name them too if you wanted, the textures, sound selection, and mixing techniques that you’ve noticed in some of your favorite upcoming artists that you can clearly pinpoint the influence stemming from the output of you and the school of your peers, the class of 2017. I think music is about to be crazy ngl, with these post covid albums, last five years of the 2020s finna be something serious imo. Also, shout out to Tape Notes for these amazing guests as of recent, I really appreciate the content and contribution to the audio/mixing community you’ve been giving us!

Track: I Think It’s You Question: Could you talk about some of your thoughts when you arranged from the last minute of the song? Or what it was like to bring together the arrangement ? Another great album, congrats!!

Tim Adam-Smith

Thank you! We've actually recorded this one now but we hope you like the episode!

Callum Ward

when is this episode dropping?

Tim Adam-Smith

Their schedule changed so we had to delay but will happen at some point in the near future!
